Chapter 7

After school, Paige and I stayed after school for his track practice. He looks so cute when he's working out. I giggle to myself thinking about it. "What?" he asks changing in the locker room next to me.

I lean against the wall. "Nothing just thinking about how cute you are when you work out." i giggle as i see his light pink blush appear on his cheeks. "You need a new binder," i say looking at his old on that's worn out. "I can buy you one if you'd like."

"No you don't need to-" i cut him off.

"Of course i do. I want to."

"Ok." he says pulling his shirt over his head. I smile, im so proud of him. Him coaches are so sweet as well they're my favorite. They're so accepting and sweet. One thing that worries me is Alexia. Paige's ex, who might I add still likes him. It's not like im jel- shit maybe i am...i shouldn't be though right? He loves me not her. I need to remember that. Just breath. Once i calm down i go back to watching him from the bleachers. If i joined we could spend more time together and i would have something to do instead of sitting on my ass writing this book I've been working on for a few days.

One of his four coaches walk over. "Hey you?"

"Me?"

"Yeah you. You're fast aren't ya?"

"I guess?"

"Take this." he hands me a form. "Join we need you."

I smile, "ok." he walks away. I mean i would get to see Paige more and get stronger so why not? After practice we walked to the high school.

"Thomas gave me this." i say handing him the form.

"Yes join! It'll be so fun!"

I smile, "ok, and it does sound fun." i say walking into the highschool weight room.

"You can sit if you want cause i have to work out and you don't have your physical yet so you can't but you can watch if you want to or walk around the school."

"I'll watch you." i smile, "im so excited to be working out with you soon."

"Im excited for you to be working out with me soon too." he says smiling. I mouth the words i love you and he mouths them back. One of the high schoolers, Alex, comes over.

"Hey Paige. Who's your little friend?"

"M-my friend." he says stuttering a bit because he knows some of the high schoolers can be tough on having couples be together. Especially Alex. He thinks it's "distracting", Which i think he's totally bogus. He can also be really pushy. Like if Paige stops for a second he starts saying 'go go go', which i can understand, but if he needs to rest for a second let the boy rest. Knowing Alex is gonna say something to me, I sit reading through all the physical questions. Ignoring him, but keeping my eye on Paige. Alex is working him so hard, i kinda hate it, but Paige does it anyways and i support him on that. I support him on everything and anything. I see Alex walk away and Paige sitting down. I take this opportunity to talk to him.

"Hey, Paigey." i say sitting next to him.

"Hey, Maxi." he mouths i love you and i mouth it back.

"So are you finished?" i ask.

"Yeah," he takes a long sip of water "wanna head home?"

"Yeah, wanna come over?"

"Of course." he says getting his stuff together and getting ready to walk home with me.

Once we reach my house we just drop everything by the door and head to my room with the occasional 'hi how was school' from my dads. We travel down the hall to my room and lay down. "Are your legs sore?"

"Yeah." he answers kissing my forehead.

"Yep." i say kissing him.

He smiles "i love you" he says wrapping his arms around me.

"I love you too." i say cuddling up to him more. "Mmmm i wanna stay with you forever."

"Me too." he says kissing my cheek. Is it bad i wanna like marry him right now? Like he's my savior.

"Hungry?" i ask.

"Yes. I could eat the entire continent of Aisa."

I giggle, "You're cute." i say getting up and taking him to the fridge. "We have...food." i say pulling stuff out to make chicken and rice.

"Yummy."

"Let's get cookin'." i say smiling as we get out pots and pans.

"Ok my little cook." he says kissing my head. We start making the food. We both suck at cooking so we try our best. Once we finally finish after like an hour, we sit in my room and eat. Like usual i drown it in Soy sauce. "Why do you use so much." he giggles.

"It's good thats why." i say turning on a musical called "The Newsies" to watch as we eat. After eating the musical was still playing so we decided to relax and cuddle watching it. Later that night when Paige was asleep i just looked at him. Yeah, yeah. Sounds creepy but he's cute when he looks peaceful. I kiss his forehead. I can't sleep when there's this gorgeous boy laying next to me. He smiles when he sleeps. His smile is gorgeous as well as his eyes when their open or shut. He's like a graceful swan gracefully swimming across a pond on a warm summers day. He's amazingly gorgeous. He's my world. He's my everything and im so happy to have him as a part of my life. I slowly drift off to sleep.

Later that night around midnight i sit up fast. "Whats wrong babe?"

"I-i had a nightmare thats all." i say. I don't want to tell him what i saw.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" he asks pushing some hair behind my ear.

"No." i say laying down cuddling next to him. "Im sure I'll tell you sometime soon. We need some sleep." he kisses me making me feel safe.

"Ok, im right here if you need someone. I love you."

"Ok, i love you too." i say kissing him again and drifting back into sleep in his warm arms.
