Sonic the Hedgehog

(Part 3)

You felt the sensation of someone shaking you gently, causing you to groan softly and turn to your side.

"No mom.. Five more minutes.." you mumble softly.

"Um... I'm not you're mom, kid." said a voice that sounded like it came from a man at least in their early 20's.

Your eyes quickly fluttered open to the sound of the strangers voice.

'There's a stranger?! How did he get in?!' you thought to yourself as you rubbed your eyes from the crust that had built up.

You blinked, then looked up and saw- Sonic?! It wasn't just a dream?!

You stared at the blue hedgehog who was crouched down right next to you.

You swiftly sat up, then quickly backed away from him.

In the past, you had imagined what you would do if you were ever able to actually meet him in person, but now you were speechless.

You stared at him and your mouth gaped open and shut repeatedly, like a fish out of water. All you could do was stare as you began to remember the events from last night flash through your mind.

After a moment of silence, you finally managed to breathe out,"Y-You're real."

He smirked. "Well yeah, duh."

Then, he stood up. "I'm assuming you already know who I am. " he said while looking at all the drawings and posters you had of him.

You blushed and nodded, your lap suddenly becoming very interesting to look at as you fidgeted with your fingers.

"So, what's your name, kid?" he asked.

You looked at him, his emerald eyes gazing at you. You quickly looked down at your lap again. "It's (y/n)..." you said quietly.

"(y/n)... That's a nice name." he said.

Suprised, you slowly looked up at him, only to see him smiling.

You smiled a little.

"How's your wound?" you asked softly, gesturing to the bandaged wound on the side of his head.

"Oh that," he chuckled. "It's fine, I hardly feel a thing."

He then offered his hand to you, to help you to your feet.

You reached out and gently grasped his gloved hand, and he pulled you up.

Suddenly, you lost your footing and fell forward. Luckily, he caught you before you were both knocked over. You had landed on his chest, his arms wrapped underneath your armpits, holding you up.

"Woah, take it easy!" he chuckled softly as he helped you stand up. "You alright?"

Embarrassed by your own clumsiness, you could only blush and nod.

Then you both noticed you were still holding on to each other. You both blushed furiously, then let go of one another.

"Um, hey.. Thanks for, you know.. Helping me back there." he said, as he chuckled nervously.

You looked up at him to see him rubbing the back of his neck, a sheepish smile on his face.

You smiled softly. "You're welcome. It was my pleasure."
