The Stepbrother

~The Dinner~

After school me and My stepbrother Nathan went home together. Once we entered the house everything was clean and my mom and Nathan's dad was at the table making food and laughing.

Every time I'm around his dad I get nervous.
My mom looked up with a smile. "School is over kids?" My mom smiled. I tossed my backpack on the couch. "Yeah.." I sad softly.
Mom came up and hugged me.

I smile. I walk up to my room which I cleaned this morning and did my homework on the laptop. Nathan came inside of the room.

"Hey." I continue doing my work.
"Hey." He came over and put his arms on my shoulder and leaned down to kiss my forehead.
"Dinner is ready, we should go down." He sighed. "Yeah, lets do this." We walked down stairs together and sat next to each other at the table.

When we were eating we were laughing and making jokes and acting like a family. "Mom." I cleared my thoart. "We.. have to tell you guys something." Nathan held my hand under the table.

"We know that we're stepbrother and sister. But we're in love." Nathan stated. We held each other's hand tightly.
The look on Nathan's dad face and my mom face.

"Um. Okay. Um." My mom started. "We will not allow it." Nathan's dad said.
"We didn't decide yet." My
Mom looked at Nathan dad.
"Yes. We need time to decide." Nathan's dad cleared his thoart.

I looked at Nathan and he looked at me and smiled. "But no kissing in front of me please." Nathan's dad said. "Okay." Both my mom and dad went upstairs. Me and Nathan begin to clean.

Nathan's POV

it went better than I expected. "Hey." She was washing dishes I turned her around and lifted her onto the counter. "It's gonna be fine." She smiled and I smiled. We finished cleaning. "Can you stay in my room tonight?" She asked. Of course I was going to stay with her.

"Yeah, sure let's get to bed." She took a shower then I took one.
When she laid down she smelt amazing. I moved her hair from her eyes to the back of her ear. I threw her legs over my waist and sat her on the bed. "I love you." I smiled. "I love you too."
