The White Wolf's Mate

Chapter 1 Meeting

Ava's POV

I watch as my mom comes into the room. She thinks I am asleep and I know she is going to come and try to scare me. So I just lay down and try to go back to sleep when I feel very cold water on me and I jump up to see what happen. That when I see my mom giggling with an empty bucket in her hand.

"Mom why did you do that, Now I am all wet thanks alot" but she says nothing she just keep's laughing at me. So I go to get an outfit for school when my mom comes over and stops me,  I look at her "Ava today you are not going to school, remember today is the gathering and it starts and 4 and it 11 am right now and alpha tom says to be ready outside by 1 because it takes 3 hours to get there so go and get ready"

I completely forgot about the gathering. So I go to take a shower but in the shower I think and I think very hard. This gathering was were we all were going to find our mates I was very happy but also very sad because I knew I would not find my mate for I am 18 and this is my very first year. I had a feeling I would not find my mate. I get out of the shower and go get changed into this long blue dress, it is very pretty and it is a dress that is long in the back and short in the front.

I start to but make up on but not very much because I don't normally put makeup on. I curly my hair and put my heels on and that when my mom enter's the room with a suitcase.

"Mom you know I am not going to find my mate I see no point in packing". My mom then gives me a look that says "Stop it". "Honey stop it you never know. You see I found your dad the frist time I went so stop all that and start packing you leave in 1 hour". So i do as my mom says and I start to pack all my things and when I am done I go downstairs and see my mom and dad waiting at the door way. I go and give then both a big hug even though I know that I will not find my mate I still want to make sure that if I do at least I say goodbye to them. They both hug me back and we say our finally good bye's and I go outside and see my alpah outside and putting other 18 years old on the buses.

I go up to the bus and I see my friend Blaire. I go and sit next to her and the whole bus ride we just sit next to each other and talk about finding our mates and how perfect they would be.

Xander POV

I get up and and go eat breakfast that is already made for me and I go and sit on the couch next to my beta and my beta mate.

"Hey alpah Xander are you ready for today" Say's my beta I then look at him confused so I go through my mind thinking what today could be. I keep thinking and I am seeing if today someone birthday but I can't seem to remember. So I look at my beta and that when he remind's me today is the yearly gathering. My wolf was very happy to go because he was waiting for our mate but I have given up hope. Now you might think I am crazy for losing hope if I have only gone twice but the thing is everyone around me has already found a mate and I have not which I do get jealous of everyone around me who has a mate. So every year that I have gone and did not find my mate I come back meaner and angryier which is bad for my pack but frankly i don't care.

An alpha female is suppose to tame me but since I have not found my mate I just snap at everyone. Well except my beta and my beta mate because my beta is josh and he is my bestfriend and my beta mate is my sister so yea.

But I go upstaris and get ready to go. I get ready and dress up but I don't give my self any hope because I was too scared that if I did I  would be disappointed. I go outside and see my beta is putting everyone on the buses to start going but I decide this year I will be  driving  because I did not want to have to be there the whole time. This was a 3 day event and as soon as everyone get there and I don't smell my mate I am out. So as soon and everyone ready we are off to the event. We get there in a hour since it was not that far and we get there pretty early. We are the second pack to get there. Everyone starts to go and get a room in the hotel and I go up and get a suite and un pack my stuff and take a nap because I don't want to leave my room until every other pack gets here.

Ava POV

We finally arive to the gathering and we all go up to the hotel to pick out our rooms. I was sharing with blaire. We unpack our thing's because we are going to be here for the next 3 days. we stay in our room because we don't feel like going out untill eveyone get here

2 hours later

Everyone finally here and we go to the pool and we just sit in one of the chairs and we start to eat our food. We are both carefull not to ruin our dress. We keep looking around and seeing everyone find there mates. It is so cute, I just keep thinking about finding my mate. We don't see any alpha around but then again alpha don't come outside untill later because they all come out and once to see if there mates are here, but as if on cue we hear a voice.

" Welcome everyone, I hope you are having a great time. I can see that a lot of people have found there mates so congratulation to them. Now it is time all the alpha are going to be coming out and seeing if there mates are here. So lets get this started alpha's please come on up"

That when the most sweetes sent fills my nose it like a mixture of pine and musk. It smelt very good. I could smell it everyday and that when my wolf says one word MATE. I am now happy but I don't know where the smell is coming from and I keep looking around and that when I find these green pair of eyes looking at me and that when my wolf says MATE again and that when I see my mate and he is standing with all the alpha.

"It seems alpha xander from the blue moon pack has found his mate"

That when my heart dropped The blue moon pack is one of the most feared pack. They are the best pack and have the best pack learder, alpha xander. I have heared that he is not patient at all and that if you disrespect him he will kill you. Which scares me but then again he does have a dark past. His parent's were kill due to a rouge attack which caused him to Turn out very mean and cruel.

That when all of a sudden I feel a tap on my shoulder, I then look up and see my friend next to me say " I wonder who his mate is" But that when I remember he is my mate so what do I do I look up at him and I see that he is looking at me. So what I do next is something I never thought I would do I run from my mate.

I don't run very fast because I don't want to draw a lot of attention towards me but that when I crash into a very broad chest and I look up to see a man face. He seems very powerful but not super powerfull so I guess he is a beta. He then starts to talk " Hi I am beta josh from the blue moon pack" I then say hi to him but that when my wolf start's to scream at me to go back to my mate but I am too scared that he will be mean to me. But then that when I feel tingles on my waist so I look up and see alpha xander looking at me and that when I start to see darkness and I start to hear people yelling around me and last thing I heard before I fainted was

"please stay with me"
