Chapter 3 I am not leaving

Ava POV

I woke up and did not see Xander anywhere so I got up to take a shower and while in the shower I hear a door open and I look at the door but I see no one so I assume it is the bedroom door. I then finish the shower and walk out side and on the bed I see a lot of clothes and next to it was a note

Dear kitten,

I got my sister to buy you clothes. Meet me in the kitchen when you are done

I look at all the clothes and I end up wearing a blue crop top and some short shorts and I start to walk downstairs and to the kitchen and when I get downstairs I see a lot of pack members in the living room and kitchen and I notice that this is some type of party. I then notice everyone watching me which I did not like attention so I start to walk to the kitchen and I don't see xander. I get started to get really nervous and I just stand there not really knowing what to do. I then just go up to my room and that is when I see xander with his friends and they seem to be drinking. I start to feel tears go down my eyes, did he forget about me. My wolf whimpers at the thought of him forgetting me so she starts to make up things of what could have happen. But I just go back to the room and find my phone and call my best friend Blaire.

"hi this is Blaire"

"h-hi this is ava" I say with tears running down my face

"AVA what wrong what did xander do, did he hit you, did he punch you. tell me ava do I need to go kick his butt"

"No, it just I wanted to talk to you I don't know anyone here and it kind of weird for me"

"Then tell my why you are crying"

So I tell her what happen and she tells me to not worry about it that he did not forget about me. I try to believe her but I don't know so I decided that I need a run. So I sneak out of the house and let my wolf out. It was such a pretty night and the moon was shinning very bright. I don't remember how long I was outside until I was getting tired so I head back to the pack house. As I do I hear screaming inside.

"WHERE IS AVA SHE WAS JUST HERE, HOW CAN MY WARRIORS NOT FIND HER"

"calm down, don't worry she will come back" Said the beta

That when I walk in and see that it was xander yelling and I say the beta and the beta mate there too. I notice that they still don't see that I am here so call out xander name and he turns around and walks up to me so fast I nearly fell but he grabbed me and pushed me to his chest and started to inhale my sent. It felt odd and I was still mad about him forgetting me though my wolf had other thoughts and was ready to forgive him I was not. So I push him off me with as much force as I can and he then backs up. I can see his eyes are pitch black. He looks mad and confused at the same time

"Where ha-"

"NO" I say and he taken a back a little from what I said

"Ava don't say no to me"

"I have the right to say no to you"

"ava what wrong"

I notice that tears are coming down my face and he looks at me with pain in his eyes. I try to stop the tears from running down my face but I cant. "Y-you told me to m-meet you at the k-kitchen and when I d-did you were n-not there so I w-waited and you n-never showed u-up so I started to w-walk back to the r-room when I see you h-hanging with all y-your friends. You forgot about me."

I now have tears running down my face like crazy and I can see the pain in his eyes knowing that the reason that I am crying is because of him. that when his sister come up to us and she looks at me and then at xander and xander goes to the couch and she then looks at me.

"He did not forgot about you at all it just that he was talking to the pack members about some issue that have been happing because they are starting to get worried and he need to calm him down. He then went over to the kitchen to look for you and you were gone. he was crazy after that and he went looking for you everywhere in the house he thought you left. He loves you ok I know this. He has changed since you have been hear. Yes it only been 1 day but I can see the changes he has been happier and he smiles more and he is less hard with the pack members. Don't leave him please. I have always loved my brother but that not the love he is looking for. He is looking for a love that only a mate can give only one you can give to him. You see everyone he know has a mate but him. He just jealous but please stay with him"

After everything she said I started to feel guilty I mean I have heard all these scary stories about this big and bad alpha but in reality all he wanted was love but because he could not fine any he was getting mean. But I can make him happy I can turn him just a little nicer and he will be happy. My wolf was happy at that thought and I hugged his sister. I went over to the couch and sat next to  xander and I looked at him but he did not look at me so I grabbed his chin and pulled it towards me and the pain and guilt in his face was shown. I have never thought that alpha xander from the blue moon pack would ever show this much weakness. But he did he was so sad and i could see the guilt in his eyes. It was hurting my wolf to see him like this but I could not move to him so we just stared to each other eyes. I was about to break the silence when

"Are you g-going to leave me?"

I now knew why he was scared he thought I was going to leave him but I could not leave and I wont leave him. So I went over to him and sat on his lap. I could see that he was surprised but I did not care and so I put my head on his chest and I laid there and he arms found there way around my waist and we just sat there in silence and I started to feel wetness on his chest and I looked up to see tears streaming down his face and I put my hand up to his face to wipe his tears.

"Why are you crying"

"You are hugging me to say goodbye and you are going to leave me"

I looked into his eyes and I could see the fear in them. He thought I was hugging him and going to leave him. My wolf whimpers at the thought and is telling me to comfort my mate so I do just that

"Xander I am not hugging you to say goodbye i am hugging you because I am going to stay. I was never planning on leaving you I just went on a run."

He looked at me still sad but I could tell that his fear went away almost completely but it was still there. so I asked if we could go to sleep and he agreed on it and we went to sleep in each other arms. His arms were warped around me tightly and his head was in my neck inhaling my sent as if I was going to leave but I said nothing about it knowing that this is what he needed.
