Her fingers shaking from terror, her palms sticky and moist. She did everything she could to keep quiet, not a peep or a sound. She was doing ever so well....until....

A sudden shrill came from her phone: Yoongi could be read on the blaring screen.

She silently swore under her breath before quickly declining the call. Why would she decline his call? Because the fear of the man that roamed outside.

•••

A sound, though it might be weak for a human to hear, it was nothing to him. He smiled as his head turned toward a small space behind some stairs. A cubby could be seen.

"I know you're here, I can sense you."

His feet shifted toward the small cubby, a smirk could be seen on his face. The shadows captivated him as he walked. "Come out come out wherever you are~" He hummed, as he neared the space.

"Don't think that you can actually hide. That's just not possible kitten."

He walked inside the cubby, needing to lower his head slightly before entering. He tilted his head as he saw her. Eyes tight, clinging to her phone that had previously gave her location away.

"And what may you be doing?" He asked nonchalantly.

Her eyes slowly opened, peering up at him, they widened. With fear. " W-what do you want?" She asked with a shaky voice. Still clinging to her phone while it pressed against her chest.

He could hear her heart beat. It was expeditious. With every inch and crevice of her heart, it showed complete and utter terror.

He fed on it.
It made him stronger.
Gave him purpose.

He crouched down to be level with her. "All I want...is to know why you ran away from me." He said briskly. Though it wasn't a question, but like a remarkably candid statement.

The girls eyes shifted away from him as she stared at an ant that scurried across the wood. He was getting a little inpatient when she didn't answer him. So. He crouched closer to her. He waved his hand in front of her face, finally gaining her attention again.

"S-sorry."

She lowered her head slightly before speaking to him again. "I was actually kinda scared." She said. The man in the black hoodie cocked his head, a little confused.

"Why?"

He noticed as she slid slightly closer to the cement wall, away from him of course. He didn't blame her, he did come off a little scary.

"Did you think I was going to hurt you?" He asked calmly.

A slight nod came from her. He watched as she clung to the wall that gave her some what of protection. At least she thought it did.

"Listen." He spoke out. "I'm not going to hurt you, and I'm not scary." He said before standing up. He held his hand out to her and smiled. A smile that assured you were safe and not alone.

"Come on, let's get out of here. The air isn't good for the both of us." He said.

At first the girl hesitated, but soon took his warm hand. He helped lift her off the ground before leaving the small cubby. They both stride to the exit of the outbuilding. The dark red doors opening soundly before two beings walked out. Well. At least one being.
