As Felix takes a closer look at his opponent and sees that she's just as beautiful as she is strong. "Hey!" she shouts. "If you're done staring at me how about you introduce yourself?"
"Spelix Fark- I-I mean Spark Felix- um...Felix Spark!"
The girl chuckles, "So you're American too? Cool, my name's Skylar Silvers- I know, a girl named 'Skylar' using Sky Magic- who would've thought?"
"I think it sounds lovely." says Felix, a few seconds later, he realizes how long he's been staring and blushing and quickly thinks of something to change the subject. "So...where are you from, Skylar?"
"I'm from Queens, New York."
"Really? I'm from Brooklyn!"
Then Coach Takeshi shouts, "Begin!" Skylar sprouts her wings again saying, "Enough talk! Let's do this!" Skylar dashes towards Felix, who's first instinct is to teleport out of the way, causing her to crash into the gym floor. "Not bad." she says. Felix blushes at the compliment, and the sees arrow-like feathers flying toward him. He uses telekinesis to stop them and sends the feathers back towards Skylar. Skylar knocks them down with her wings and flies toward Felix again, smiling as her fist starts glowing light blue. "Heavenly Fist!"
"Lightning Shield!" Felix puts up an electric force field that not only blocks Skylar's attack, but also zaps her. Her wings disappear as she falls to the ground. Looking at her burns Felix is worried. Crap, I think I overdid it! I hope she's okay. Felix puts down his Lightning Shield and calls to Skylar, "Hey, are you okay?" He slowly walks over to her... and then finds himself getting sucker punched in the face. If I let her keep me on the defensive, I'll never win. Felix thinks. Felix starts charging an attack. He holds his hands back as a ball of electricity forms in them. "Ion...Beam!" Felix fires a laser of lightning magic energy. Skylar's wings quickly reappear and she blows a gust of wind that effortlessly destroys Felix's Ion Beam and knocks him into the gym wall, unconscious.
Felix wakes up in the nurse's office and sees Ken looking over him. "Hey, Arashi! He's up!" Arashi, who was reading a book at the time quickly closes it and runs up to Felix. "Well that's good. Are you feeling better?"
"Yeah, I'm fine- but how'd I end up here again?"
"That blonde with the big tits kicked your ass!" explained Ken. He then starts flapping his arms, "She sent down this huge gust of wind and was like 'Winds of Suffering!'" He then pushes Arashi into the wall. "...and then you made a hole through the gym wall. But I can see you gave it your all so don't feel bad, okay?" Ken puts his hand on Felix's shoulder. Felix does not respond to this. Tears are flowing down his eyes like a waterfall, then suddenly he shouts, "Why the hell should I NOT feel bad?! You think this is the first time shit like this has happened to me? My whole life I've been getting ass kicked and failing at magic! I've been studying Magic ever since I learned how to read at age four and guess what I've learned- goddamn TELEKINESIS AND TELEPORTATION- that's it! I only know Lightning Magic cause that's the magic I was born with. Do you have any idea what it's like to know so much and be able to do so little?!" Felix breathes for a moment and then says, "I'm sorry- it's just-"
Ken smiles at Felix, putting his hand back on his shoulder, "Don't worry I get it. You knew we were expecting you to be awesome and win. Just know win or lose, we'll never think any less of you."
Felix wipes the tears off his eyes and smiles. Then Ken gets an idea, "You know what? How about Arashi and I train you?" Arashi looks at Ken and asks "I'm sorry, you and who now?" Ken continues, "Arashi's dad's been teaching us martial arts for years. We can teach it to you! It's important for Mages to strengthen their bodies as well as their minds you know. What do you think, bro?"
