"What do you mean your going away?" Jason said with a sad melancholy expression. Jason, a little boy with a curved bun like round face was now staring at Cat. Cat had been best friends with Jason as long as she could remember.                                       "Mum and I are going to a new home far away in some place called London?" Cat dropped her shoulder and covered her face with her hands to hide the tears. Cat looked down at her new dress, she didn't care if it got dirty. She sat on the grass with her knees bent closely towards her chest.

"Cather (he is the only one who calls her that)." Cat looked up to find Jason with a sad expression. He glanced at her and sighed, then his frown turned into a smile, a smile which covered his entire face. "you know, you look better when you smile, I know exactly how to make you smile; follow me." Jason grasped Cats hands tightly as he led the way.

Running to keep up with Jason, Cat began to wonder where they were going. Could he be taking her to a fair? Cat alway enjoyed rides, the thrill, excitement and the magnificent views from the highest points.

"Jason, where are you taking me?"  "wait and see, your so impatient Cather."

The dazzling sun blazed down pleasantly, a gentle breeze shimmered through the thin summer air. A familiar scent revealed its self to Cat. The sea side. Cats number one favourite places of all time. As if by magic a smile sprang across Cats face, even wider than any of Jasons.

Walking along the sand Jason bent down and picked something from the shallow water and placed it into Cats small cuped hands. A small croch sea shell, pink with many markings. "Its a goodbye present." Jason exclaimed sitting next to Cat on the warm, elegant sand.

"Thank you" Cat whispered as if she was holding her breath or a tear.

Hoping the day would never end Cat and Jason played in the crysyal blue water which sparkled with greatness.

" Hey cather." Jason turned towards Cat and smiled brightly "Lets make a promise." Cat turned to face Jason. "Ok."

"Promise me that you will never forget me, and that you will wait for me to find you."

"Your a big idiot" Cat said squeezing her hands tightly onto her lap.

"Of course ill never forget you, in fact it will be difficult to forget a wierdo like you."  Cat started to blush.

"Because y, your my best friend" Cat looked at Jason for a hopeful answer.

"Your my best friend too."

Cat started to cry, this time however they were tears of relief.

"Your such a hopeless crybaby." Jason said bending over to hug cat.

"Your such a mean weirdo." Cat said laughing and crying, all at the same time...
