Going All the Way

Part 5

**some time towards the end of the car trip**

Eduard was clinging to edge of his seat. Yao didn't even know how to drive. It was like riding in some sort of bumper car, but with a greater chance of death- totally not attracting a lot of attention to themselves.

Finally, after what felt like hours to Edward, the car stopped in front of what seemed like a apartment complex.

Yon Su was the first to get out of the car. He quickly grabbed his stuff, and raced out to Ivan and the sisters. Then it was Eduard. He went out a bit slower than Yon Su because he was extremely shaken up. At last Yao opened his door and looked out. And everyone was looking at him like he was crazy.

Yao tilted he head. "Why are all you you staring at me like i'm some sort of mad man?"

"Because you are." Eduard said while overlooking his briefcase.

Yao huffed and mocked Eduard. "Because you are!"

Ivan let out a dry laugh then put hi hand on Yon Su's shoulder. "Yon, i want you to do rock-paper-scissors."

"May i ask why sir?" said Yon Su as he took a step back.

"Nope. Just do it Yon."

"Okay."

Yon Su stepped forward, and puts his hands forward, one in the shape of a fist, and the other cupping it. Eduard did the same. The went up and down with the fist three times. Eduard made the shape of the "rock" and Yon made the shape of "scissors". Yon su put down his hands and looked at Ivan.

"Congratulations Esti!"

"Eh?" Eduard said as he looked up.

"You get to go after Touris!"

Eduard felt himself sink. "I get to what?"

"You. Get. To. Retrieve. The. Exotic. Touris."

Eduard froze. I have to kidnap a man that will more than- No!- will have more experience than me in combat, and will probably recognize me within ten seconds of contact, not to mention; KILL him as soon as he can, so that he doesn't go back with them and- "yes sir..."

"Very good. We'll meet you inside"

And with that- Ivan and the two sisters went around the building and left Eduard, Yao, and Yon Su to one of those apartment buzzer things, that you use to "buzz in" someone. Eduard read the name-tags. one was before each button. they listed:

Lewdanski

F. Łukasiewicz

J. Kirkland

T. Jullioum

B. Dover

And so fourth, but no "Laurinatus". It was strange to Eduard, after all, did Braginsky expect His name to actually be on there? Touris was smart- he would have changed his name, or be living with someone else.

Yon Su stared at him in confusion. "so, what now?"

Eduars looked back at him. "Press them all and ask?"

And the Yao pushed Eduard aside and pressed a button. "Looks like we're going random!"

Eduard and Yon Su grabbed Yao and tried to stop him, but it was too late. There was a loud buzzing noise. The three of them went silent. A moment of silence went by, then someone in a valley-girl like voice, with a slight accent answers.

"Like, who the heck is this?"

The three of them stood there. dead silence, Until Yon Su spoke up.

"Erm... we... um... you left your business card on our desk."

There was a pause.

"OH! you must be the exterminators that i hired a couple weeks ago!"

The three of them looked at each other with a look of disgust and confusion.

Eduard leaned over to Yao and whisperd:

"How does he know that there is more-than-one of us?"

Yao shrugged. The valley girl speech continued:

"Wait. I actually didn't hire the three of you."

Yao and Eduard froze in shock. And the person kept talking;

"Like, i kinda like Touris alive. I also like him here."

Yon Su's voice was now a bit dry. "How do you know all of this?"

"have you ever, like, heard of the name 'Star Lord'?"

"Yes i have. Let me guess: it's you?"

"come on up, if you seriously want to know. Keep in mind that it's at your own risk."

And with that the Valley-girl speech stopped, there was a loud buzz, and the man hung up. The three of them looked at each other in wonder, then the buzzer went on again.

"Oh yeah, just to let you know- A.P.T. 101. Think 1989."

Then he hung up once more, and yao questioned it. "What does he mean '1984' Eduard."

Eduard took a pause, then responded; "today's society"

"Oh. that makes sense."

And with that, the three of them headed inside, up the stairs to the second floor, with pistols in hand.
