Chapter two - rollercoaster

Neal:

I couldn't understand it I thought I'd found my promised in Jade but one look at Jodie and I couldn't stop my inner wolf from howling at me to get closer to her. Excusing myself from Jade and her mothers company I slide quietly into the shadows to watch Jodie from a far the way her delicious curves make my mouth water.

How was this possible? My wolf had never once been off with me. The need for blood gnawed at my gut irritating my gums making my fangs want to distend. I kept my cool enough, sliding into one of the offices. Honeysuckle and jasmine hitting my senses immediately. I wasn't alone.

"Do you always follow people around like lost puppies?" Drawled the voice in the shadows. A low growl escaped my lips before I could reply her scent driving both my wolf and I crazy as she clicked her tongue and spun on her heel winking at me as she slowly spun around on the chair her long legs up on the desk her tiny feet bare except for the blue nail varnish.

I smirk "and do you have a thing for blue?" Instantly she looked bored, rolling her eyes before shoving tiny earbuds into her ears. Her music growing louder and louder from what I can only guess to be from her iPhone. My eyes took her in though now her eyes were closed. Tonight was the first night since my 21st birthday I'd been able to see auras again. Her aura was much stronger in here away from others the blue so strong it made her shine. Even jade didn't have a blue aura.

Jodie:

I could feel his eyes on me as I tried my best to be so annoying he'd leave. But he wouldn't. As the music helped calm my nerves I itch to open my eyes and admire him some more but I know I can't he was my sisters promised not mine even though that kiss we had shared 4 years ago had made my heart beat and feel things I'd never felt before.

Don't look up you can do this. He isn't yours. Turning my music down I take a long steady but quiet breath as light floods the room. "Neal! There you are! I hope my sister hasn't been spreading nasty things!" Drawls jade in that fake posh voice. I roll my eyes and stand. "Grow up dweeb that's not your voice and as for spreading nasty things you're the only one who does that. After all I know all about what you did to poor Drew and Cassidy ." I wink leaving jade to look at me agape.
