2pac now calls himself Makaveli, but it's originally Machiavelli, but 2pac has his version in slang. . Machiavelli was an Italian war strategist who advocated faking one's death to fool his enemies. Pac was a fan of him and had read his books several times while he was in prison. Tupac was taking his advice. Machiavelli "died " at age 25 and came back at age 43.
