HENRY'S POV
I dreaded walking into my house. Nobody should be living in a place where they don't feel safe.I groggily walked into the living room of my house to find my dad in his same stupid chair. He didn't acknowledge me but he knew I was there.
I walked to the table by the window to grab a small daisy out of the vase that sat there. I planned to give it to y/n. She seemed really off today and I wanted to cheer her up.
My dad chuckled evilly.
"That for your new toy?" He asked.
I ignored him. He only wants a reaction out of me and I wasn't gonna give him one.
"You fuck her yet?" I heard again. "She's innocent. Real quiet like."
He clenched the flower in my hand. "How would you know?"
"Why do you think she wouldn't talk to you today?" He muttered.
Not wanting to revive any more lashes for today, I turned on my heel and stomped outside. I started to run as fast as my feet could carry me. I found myself at her door. I began pounding on it.
The door opened to reveal a very distressed (y/n)'s mother. "Oh, Henry!" She cried. "I'm so glad you're here."
She let me inside. There house was a disaster. Furniture was thrown every where and there were holes in the walls.
"Did you do this?!" I heard her dad boom. He stormed up to me and held me by my shirt collar.
"N-no, Sir." I stuttered. Jesus, I sounded like Bill.
His eyes were crazy. "Dad, stop." A soft voice called out. His eyes softened and his grip was released from my shirt.
(Y/n) moved passed her dad and up to me. She fell into my arms.
"Leave them be, dear." Her mother said to her father. They left the room quietly.
"I'm so sorry." I held her head in my hands. "I had no idea."
She looked up at me. There was a hint of a bruise under her left eye. It enraged me but I softened as soon as she smirked.
My hand traveled down to her waist and I pulled her closer. Her head lay on my chest.
"It's okay, Henry. I'm just glad you're here." She said.
"I'm still gonna rip his head off."
