My chest is deflating.
However, I'm not dying.Am I dying?
My lungs are failing,
And I can't breathe.
They are shallow, short. What's happening to me?
My legs shake, defying me.
If I don't sit down now I may fall.Bed?
Chair?
Floor?
My vision goes in and out,
blurred.The room around me spins,
Flips,
And turns.
My minds a blur.Stop.
Stop.
Stop.
When did it get so hot in here?
Or am I cold?
Why am I shaking?I'm drowning
And being burned alive
All at the same time.
At least, that is how it feels.Tears race down my cheeks.
What is it she said?"Find five things"

My chest inflates,
I am not dying.I will be okay
My lungs fill with air,
And I can breathe.
Long and slow.Fight or flight?
My legs are stablized,
And I can stand on my own.Time has past,
And everything is normal againNormal
