The Weekend is Over
Monday Nov. 10
I woke up with the worst attitude today, well mainly because it was Monday. I mean who likes waking up from a nice weekend of no school, to school. Sounds confusing, but most of you know what I am talking about. As usual, Mom got up early just to make the family breakfast. She does this every Monday. She wakes up early like 5 o clock and makes a big breakfast. It’s usually eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast, and maybe some oranges. Nice breakfast for a Monday morning. But I always skip breakfast. I always get that feeling when I wake up in the morning, like if I eat something I am going to throw up. Usually my mom is always like, “You need to eat something to start your day off right…” But I always tell her that I am allergic to morning breakfast. So I just skipped breakfast and when straight to my light blue MacBook to check my WattPad. I got a couple of reads and nice comments. One does kind of stand out to me. The comment read,
“I love this book you written. It is filled with suspense and drama and I just frickin love it. You are such an inspiration and I read all 3 of your books. Now I am caught up, I would love it if you checked out my stories on my page. Thank you!”
I had a little bit time on my hands before I had to get going to school. I clicked on their page and they had a profile picture of themselves up. It was a guy. He had dark brown flippy hair, really pretty light brown eyes and nice soft lips (from what I could tell). He looked familiar but I couldn’t put my finger on it. So I looked his username up. It said, “mwright12”. He looked sooo familiar and it was killing me so much that I couldn’t figure out who he was. I looked at the time in the corner of my laptop. I was going to be late if I didn’t leave the house now. So I grabbed my keys and put my laptop in my bag.
I got into school and Jamie, Allison, and Miley were waiting for me in their sweatpants. Its sweatpants Monday. Yes it seems weird, but every Monday we wear sweatpants.
“Hola amigos...” I said with a smile on my face as we were walking down the hallway. Everyone was trying to get to their lockers so they can get to their first period.
“Como estas…” Jamie responded back. Allison was the only one confused on what we were saying. I couldn’t help but laugh.
Allison cut her off, “Am I the only one who didn’t take Spanish 1. This Spanish talking bothers me. I feel like you guys are talking shit about me.” She giggled a little bit.
Miley is just in her on world but she heard everything we said. She is the real master at Spanish. Her mom is like half Hispanic and she taught Miley everything she knows. “Allison honey, you need to take a few deep breaths. They are just greeting each other.” Miley told Allison slowly as if she was stupid.
Allison stared at Miley with a dull look on her face and she said, “Don’t make me cut you.” In a joking manner.
As we were walking down the main hallway, I pulled out a granola bar because I didn’t eat breakfast. Then a guy with dark brown flippy hair, really pretty light brown eyes and nice soft lips (from what I could tell) stopped Allison to tell her, “There is a mandatory Student Government meeting after school today! You think you can be there?”
I started choking on my granola bar trying to speak but nothing would come out. He just stared and smiled at me. His smile was so perfect. His teeth were straight and really white. You don’t normally see that at my school. His hair was so sexy and made him so damn attractive. I sound horny but I’m not, and I’m not crushing… At least I don’t think. “Are you okay?” He giggled.
