Have you watched the new episode? Cause I have, and now I'm feeling really bad for Summer and Freddy...
[SPOILER ALERT!!]
Summer asked Principal Mulling for some advice, that she liked that guy and he liked her too, but her best friend also had feelings for that same guy. So Principal Mullins told her to avoid him at all costs, since she didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings
During the whole episode, Freddy tried approaching her and talking to her, but she just kept running away and hiding from him.
Then, she talked to Tomika about it, and told her that she knew she liked Freddy, but Tomika double pinky promised she didn't.
Then, Summer tried telling Freddy how she feels, but he told her that he realized he actually didn't mean why he said at the surprise party, and they decided to just be friends.
But like, Summer just didn't want to hurt anyone, and ended up hurting Freddy and herself. Freddy was trying to talk to her but she kept running away, so he gave up, thinking she didn't like him.
