A sharp metallic, all too familiar smell filled my nostrils before I felt the warm sticky substance trail down my neck, coating my back. It could only be one thing.
Blood.
Lots of blood at that.
Black spots started to cloud my vision. I was loosing consciousness. Fast.
The last thing I saw before the world faded into darkness was a pair of dark eyes filled with concern and a black mask covering the lower region of the face, preventing me from seeing the pair of lips behind it.
"Who..." I managed to mumble before my eyes fluttered shut.
