Reluctant She-Wolf
As far as Calysta was concerned, she was having another bad day.
She had many of those lately as her wolf was not happy. To compromise, she agreed to take a weekend off of work. Yeah, but she worked to pay the bills so something else will have to be given up in it's place.
After a weekend of long grueling hours, Calysta packed a bag and got ready to leave. She had two days off and instead of going to sleep, she hopped on a bus and headed back to the pack.
Now her wolf perked up, as Calysta closed her eyes and rested her tired body, her wolf watched out for them.
Six hours later, Calysta yawned as she got off the bus. As soon as she slipped into the familiar woods, her wolf was very eager to shift and run.
After scenting the area and knowing they were alone, Calysta dropped her bag and pulled off her shoes and socks. She stuffed them in her bag and she gave control to her wolf who shifted them while still dressed.
She grabbed her bag and ran. Once she crossed the border, she found a spot to stash her bag and let her wolf run. Her wolf was in seventh heaven, even after the pack Warriors caught her scent and soon caught up with her.

The pack leaders were all alerted to the Warriors catching Calysta's scent. Then when the Warriors caught up to her, they let her run for a bit before they were told to bring her to the pack house.
By then Calysta was starved. She was herded to the back yard of the pack house and shoved into a shed where she shifted back.
Her wolf was extremely happy as she got her first run in for quite a long time. As soon as she stepped out though, her step brother Johan looked her over before he tossed her over his shoulder and took her inside.
She huffed and said I can walk Johan, geez. He grunted and said your skinny as a rake Calysta and your stomach is growling. You're not taking care of yourself.
Calysta sighed and said I just finished a long weekend of overtime hours at work. I took a few days off and have to be back by Wednesday afternoon for work.
He grunted and said you're not looking after yourself Calysta. She said oh I am, it's just that my wolf has been irritating as she keeps saying she needed to shift and run. Where I live there is no safe place to do that so I have to travel all the way back here to run.
He grunted and asked when are you done school so you can come back home? She said by the end of May if everything goes well. I take my exams in mid May and will be done by the end of May.
They were inside where she was set down as Alpha Kent, Beta Stan with her father Head Warrior Terrence all with their arms crossed looked her over. She sighed as she saw their angry faces.
Alpha Kent asked why are you so skinny Calysta? Her father grunted and asked why are you back? She gulped as that one question hurt deep. Calysta said I work Alpha Kent to help support myself.
He grunted and said you are the one that won't stay with the others and said you had to live on your own. She made a face and said live with the others there? If you could only see what their dorm is like you would understand. If I could bottle the smell, you would be disgusted too. If you could be a fly on the wall and witness what's going on there, I'm sure you would be pissed as hell.
He grunted and said I've visited before the classes started. She sighed, shook her head seeing as he didn't believe her or understand at all. She finally looked towards Luna Gail and said they moved females into their dorm, who are not attending University full time. It is the fullest dorm on campus.
