The Scoundrels
Life wasn't easy for them, never learning what life was about.
They sit there in the same dirty clothes, every day, living with self pity and doubt.
They stand on street corners, holding out their hands.
Hoping for just one person to understand.
Tickery and greed, brought them to this part of town.
Along street corner's, scoundrel's are all around.
They lose sight to reality, a mind of their own.
In their left pocket, they are carrying a cellphone.
Beggar's on every street
Scoundrel's are hard to defeat.
Endangerment is their next base.
Prison time could be their next home to face.
A new understanding in life, instead of sorrow and strife.
The scoundrel's, are never beaten at their own game.
There is alway's someone, they can shame.
Acceptance of who they are or look into another's eye's to blame.
