She waits

She waits

She wait's for the answers of what behold's her judgement.
She never intended to lose what she held on for so long, what she dreamt.
Longing for the one thing she never thought, she would have to give up.
Sometimes, faith is just not enough.
When the answer was delivered through life.
Death, appeared in the eyes of her knife.
She never wanted time to be her best friend.
She never wanted to know that her life, will soon come to an end.

She await's with anguish in her eyes.
There is no time for any kind of alibi.
She thought love would pull her through.
No telling where that came from, she never said " I love you."
With her last dying breath, she found the answer's deep within.
To carry out her one last sin.
She tried to do the right thing.
But agony is what she did bring.
Nobody taught her right from wrong.
She was on her own, raising her only son.
Death to her only self, but with one brink of the knife.
She fell to the floor, taking her own life.

Maybe, it wasn't really all that bad.
Maybe, she could have chosen another path.
She fumbled with the fading thought, along her fading life.
A tear fell, and so did blood,
Peace killed the strife.
She would be missed, by the people who loved her.
But  would soon be forgotten,
Some will hold on for longer.
But none will hang on forever,
For life is what it is about.
A candle that burn's itself up for light.
And after it has melted, it vanishes into the night.
