I finished my last sketch for my Engineering and Fashion class when the bell finally rang. It's been almost a month since I first got to L.A and so far I'm liking it.
The people are cool, the weather is nice and so far my first semester of school hasn't been that bad. I wouldn't say I have any friends here just yet but I do have a few people that I talk to on a regular.
There's Faith, who I met in my apartment complex and because she pretty much has the same classes as me, then there's Adonnis (who happens to be gay) who I met in school.
I put my bag over my shoulder and began walking off campus. I have my own apartment close by that I bought with the money I had saved up, and since I haven't bought a car yet, I walk the short distance.
"Woahhh I know you were not about to walk by yourself! some of these L.A people are creeps" Adonnis said walking up to me and linking his arm to mines.
"Whatever Adonnis you think everyone's a creep" I said laughing. "Where's Faith?"
"Girl I don't know she said something about she'll meet you at your apartment" Adonnis informed me shrugging his shoulders while looking down at his phone.
"Always inviting herself over" I laughed shaking my head.
We got to my apartment taking the elevator up to the 5th floor. We walked down to my apartment and Adonnis waited for me until I unlocked the door.
"Alright boo I'll see you later! Call me!" Adonnis said as the elevator door closed.
I laughed and walked into my apartment locking the door. I kicked off my shoes and dropped my bag on the floor. I sat on the couch closing my eyes.
Just as I closed my eyes there was a knock at the door. "Damn" I mumbled. I got up to see who was at the door.
I unlocked the door to see Trey my neighbor.
"Oh hey Trey" I said waiting to see what he was going to say.
"Wassup, I just came over to give you your mail." He said handing me the two envelopes.
"Thanks" I smiled, beginning to close the door.
