Hey Guys so I'm just trying to give you guys a little something, something before I have to go to school tomorrow but I'm going on Winter Break so you might just be seeing more updates. Oh and another thing, I'm gonna need a little bit more feedback guys. I'm not asking you to vote and comment on every single chapter but I just wanna know if I'm doing a good job and just interact with my readers. But OK now on to the chapter.
Saraih's POV:
It was finally May 5th, my baby's birthday. Chris being Chris he didn't really wanna do anything but I was going all the way out because he was turning 18 and I just cared about him that much. I've been planning this for like 2 weeks and it has been hard as hell keeping this secret away from him. I called every one of Chris' friends that I knew he was close to and invited them to the party. It was gonna be at the most popular club in the VA called Nightlife. I rented the whole thing out just for him. I was thinking about having it be an all black and gold affair but I'm not sure yet. Chris and I were gonna go shopping later to search for outfits. Later on after the party I was just gonna chill with my baby and the night would go on from there.
It was kind of sad that Chris' parents haven't been here for him lately like they should be and I could tell that it's been getting to him. His mom was never really home and his dad was always out fucking bitches so he was never home either. So by now, Chris was prepared to live on his on. All his parents did for him was send money to keep the house functioning until Chris could get on his feet and fully provide for himself. But I wasn't about to let him be sad on his birthday.
I wanted to surprise Chris by coming over so I didn't bother to text him or anything. I checked my phone seeing that I had messages from Maddy, Si, and Tay saying how much they missed me and I had one from Kierra saying that she was extra hype about the party. I replied back to all of them then put my phone back on charge. I missed my boo's too. I'm probably gonna try and hang out with them after Chris' party or after prom. They hadn't even met Chris yet.
I checked the time and saw that it was 10:30 a.m so I figured I'd probably be done getting dressed and stuff around 12:00. I went into the bathroom, ran the shower water then stripped down from my clothes. I was gonna press my hair today because that's how Chris liked it best and today was all about him. I washed my hair while I was in there since I was gonna do it. I got out of the shower and wrapped the towel around my body and began doing my hygiene. I went into my room and walked into my closet to find something to wear.
After 15 minutes of trying to decide I had picked out an Adidas Miami heat shirt, some red jean shorts, and my black and red Jordans. I put my clothes on then walked over to the mirror to do my hair and make-up. I blow-dried my hair which caused it to be all over my face, then I heated up my pressing comb and flat iron. I was gonna be wearing my hair straight for a minute so I needed to get it as straight as possible so it will last. I parted my hair in the middle and waited for my stuff to heat up. I took my phone off the charger and started to play flappy bird.
"Oh my fucking gosh!! All I'm trying to do is get to 30! But no stupid ass bird wanna keep falling with his straight face ass!" I said irritated then throwing my phone on the other side of my bed.
"Saraih, You alright in here?" My mom said only showing her head in my door.
"Oh, yeah I'm OK I was just playing flappy bird. i didn't know you heard that" I said laughing.
"You excited for Chris' party?" She asked
"Yes! I can't wait I'm getting ready to go over there now" I said
