" At least tell me where we are going Aubrey " I said with a bit of bitterness because she was gonna get me in trouble " would you stop worrying about being in trouble ? What is your mom gonna do , ground you ? No . Your 18 she can't anymore " " fine alright , what are we gonna do first ? " " well I thought we'd go do our hair first since that was the original plan , then we will figure it out from there ! " Aubrey said with lots of enthusiasm . We got to Aubrey's car as immediately started the argument about who got radio control , I won though because it is my birthday . We arrived at the hair salon to be greeted by Victoria, we've been getting our hair cut from her since we were little , we actually met here when we were seven and have been friends ever since .

" Hey girls ! Happy Birthday Nora " Vic said as we walked in . " Thanks Vic " I said as I sat on the small couch . " what can I do for you guys today ? " " we are finally gonna dye Nora's hair ! " Aubrey said excitedly " I thought your mother said no thought ? " Vic said " well Aubrey says I'm 18 so I can do whatever I want , but I'll just deal with my mom yelling at me later . " I said quite carelessly . Vic seemed unsure at first , probably thinking about my mother can be violent sometimes . She started telling me what would be good colors in me as she took me to the back room where they put the , as she say , ' Amazing colors ' . I had finally decided on a galaxy look after about 15 minutes of looking . She and Aubrey rambled on about random stuff as I sat quietly while she did my hair , right before it was done Aubrey and Vic have insisted I cover my eyes and when I opened them I couldn't have been happier ! This is Nora's hair

" ok so do you like it ? " Vic and Aubrey awaited my answer anxiously . " I absolutely love it ! " I screamed as I hugged Vic . So once they were both happy with my reaction we said bye to Vic . " call me if you need me tonight if your mom gets to mean " Vic said as she hugged me goodbye . " ok thank you Vic . " she just nodded to me as we walked out . " What now Aubs " I asked , " well we could go to the mall or we could go somewhere we haven't gone in years " she had said mischievously . And of course of of curiosity I chose the latter decision , as we got in the car she covered my eyes with my beanie and told me not to look . " well if you were gonna kill me you could have at least done it after my birthday " I said with a scoff half joking half not . " oh shut up if I wanted to kill you I would have done it years ago " " yeah ok fair enough " I answered the rest of the way we sat in a comfortable silence whilst the music played lightly and she tapped the steering wheel excitedly . " Are we almost there yet ?" I had asked like a little kid . She didn't answer so I just groaned . Well this could be a very long drive ........
