THE YOUNG VICOMTESSE
Have I ever lost my temper before? If the answer is no, then you are correct. Now I have the chance to.
Many times I hear people of high society tell my father "Your daughter is so perfect.", "She's well behaved." and "Such a fine young vicomtesse." to which father will start agreeing, and I will just sit or stand there and listen.
Every time I hear it I almost feel trapped.
I ran away once. I called myself Larka. I performed in an opera...
I learned from a great tutor. He didn't care who I was. I first followed him after I found something in my room. A rose.
It was lovely, and I began my lessons after I followed where he led. I became curious, perhaps too curious. I was a prying pandora. I may have tried to take off his mask. He did lose his temper, yet that was to be expected.
Where was I going with this?
Oh right, my title. The fact of the matter is, I do not care for titles. I do not wish to be the young vicomtesse. I just want to be Sonata, isn't that enough?
I have my own thoughts. I have my own feelings. I have my own life.
To end this rant on a high note, why note reveal the extent of my vocal lessons from this masked man?
@-ErikDestler, I hope you are pleased with me.
