The New Kid

Lunch Time

Jack and I were getting along really well and super quick it felt like I've known him my whole life. He doesn't seem to bad I thought he would be worst since yell at him and all. Jack was funny and so sweet. The way he looks at me makes me smile. His eyes when the sun hits them. I kind of just stare at him I was staring at him in all my classes. He's so. Adorable.

Jack and I walked to the lunch room I didn't see my friends yet so we got into the lunch line. "Hey why don't you and your boyfriend have any classes together?" He asked me while we got food. "I don't know. We had classes together last year so." I shrugged. We started walking to my table and saw all my friends. "Okay you guys this here is Mr. Jack Avery just without the Mr of course." I said in a weird voice. They all laughed. I walked over and saw Daniel on his phone like always I kiss his head right before I sat down. "Hey babe. Why are always your phone?" I put my hand on his arm. "Sorry come to find out I have to stay after tomorrow." "Oh why's that?" "I missing a lot work. I also have Saturday school." "So you won't be hanging out us tomorrow." "No sorry. Have Jack take my place." He told me with no hesitation. I could feel my face getting hot. I saw Jack get red. I smiled at him. He smiled back shyly. "Hey Kai can I talk to you." Piper had a fake smile and grabbed my arm.

"W-what in the hell are you doing." "Nothing what are you talking about." "You know what I'm talking about. Jack. Kai you have a boyfriend." "Yeah I know." "Then why in the hell are you flirting with the new kid." "I'm not. I'm making him feel welcomed." "So flirting with him is making him feel welcomed." "I mean I could but I'm not flirting with him." Piper rolled her eyes and walked back to the table.

Jack's POV
When I ran into Kai she was so. Gorgeous. I couldn't help to stare. When I found out she was going to show me around the school I was excited and when I found out we have all the same classes I was so happy I was gonna ask her out till she told me she had a boyfriend. When we went to lunch it looked like Daniel didn't care to much about her he just sat on his phone the whole time. When he told me to take his place and go hangout with Kai and her friends I started to turn red. When Kai and Piper left to go talk about something I noticed Daniel and Lauren were texting about...I couldn't make out what they were taxing about but I had a feeling it wasn't good. Kai did say something about not to get to close to Lauren because she would hurt me in a way.

Kai POV
The whole time at lunch I stared at Jack and every time I did Piper would kick me. I started to notice Daniel was texting someone and Lauren was on her phone. She's never on her phone this much. "Daniel honey. Who you textin'." I said in a sweet and caring voice. "N-no one." He hid his phone and not letting me see. I gave him a glare. "Yeah okay sure whatever." I got on my phone and texted Corbyn.
K: Say a joke or something out loud.
C: Okay. Would me saying a joke help with the tension that's happening at this table?
K: Yes now please say a joke before I punch him.
C: Will do.
"So knock knock Jack." "Uhh who's there?" "Kai's fist" Corbyn started laughing. "Kai's fist who?" Jack couldn't help to laugh. "That's all. That's all I got." We all laughed.
