Chap 13: Jonah (Part 2)

In Anthony's world, there lived a young teenage girl named (Y/N). (Y/N) belonged in a small, poor town with no electricity and a small amount of food. But there was one thing great about her world; Jonah. He was a handsome celebrity living in the richest part of The United States of Anthony. Oh and he's also part of a boy band. All (Y/N) could do was envision his beautifully sculpted face all day long. It was a shame that he was far too famous to ever notice such a peasant like (Y/N). If only she had the money to meet Jonah at one of his concerts.

As the days past (Y/N) grew more and more hungry. The Festival of Anthony was soon coming and she had to act fast before most of the celebrating people came. (Y/N) was desperate. Her only option was to steal money or else her family would be at risk from hunger.

Act quick and fast she thought. The crowd flooded in through the gates as (Y/N) searched for her victim. Admiring the appealing flowers was a sophisticated man in a top hat. As distracted as the man was, he was the perfect opportunity to strike at. (Y/N) lurched forward towards his pocket and stuck her hand out. She felt a bulky rectangular object and pulled it out. With the stranger still oblivious to the crime,
(Y/N) ran away with her new prize.

500 dollars!!!! (Y/N) could not decide what to do first with the money. She would ration money for her hungry family and replace her tattered clothing. With the extra cash, she was sure about one thing. (Y/N) would be able to finally purchase a Why Don't We ticket!!!

*Two months later*

(Y/N) rounded the corner to see a long line of girls piled in front of Anthony Stadium. For the very first time in her life, (Y/N) felt beautiful. She was going to see the boys in her new clothing. Figuring there was another entrance beside the crowded line, she made her way forward. A big smile arose once (Y/N) found another door. As she paraded down the sidewalk to reach her destination, she saw five dark figures strutting out the Why Don't We tour bus.

From what (Y/N) could make out, she immediately comprehended they were the famous five boys unless her eyes deceived her. Standing only a few feet away from them, her heart rate began to pick up. She started to calculate her next action. Caught up in her contemplation, (Y/N) was spotted by one of the not-so-mysterious figures.

"Hey, who's that?" the figure spoke. (Y/N) recognized him as Daniel

"I don't know but I don't think she's supposed to be back here." This voice belonged to the one and only Jonah Marais. "Whoever you are, you better come out."

(Y/N) was in shock. She could not find the words to come out of her mouth but she lightly stepped forward. Never in a million years, she thought a moment close to this would occur in her life.

"Uhh..hey. I kinda got lost," I finally responded in a murmured manner.

"Great, this is the fifth time that happened on this tour," Zach uttered.

Jack whacked him in the arm. "Be a little more considerate."

"Usually you would be brought back to the lines in the front entrance but our bodyguards can't lead you there. You'll have to enter with us." Jonah continued.

(Y/N)'s heart soared at his words even though this was considered a misfortune. Luckily, none of the boys tried to make more small talk with her otherwise (Y/N) might have passed out. She let Jonah and Daniel at the front lead her to the section reserved for people who bought backstage tickets. Although this wasn't her place to be, (Y/N) could not feel more ecstatic. All five boys sent her a sympathetic smile before going out into the spotlight.

*1 hour later*

"Goodbye citizens of Anthony Town!!" Corbyn yelled to the screaming crowd.

The boys rushed off the stage to be tackled by VIP girls. Feeling uncomfortable, (Y/N) awkwardly stood in the corner. Jonah walks up to (Y/N) with a heartwarming smile. She broke into a smile herself. This teenager in a crop top sniggered to her two close friends.

"What does this little girl thinks she's doing. She's talking to Jonah in a cheap dress from that really ratchet store in Anthony Town!"

"I know right!! Dani look, she didn't even put her makeup on properly!"

(Y/N) assumed that Dani was the queen of the group. Jonah was quick to notice her smile drop.

"Don't worry, they're just jealous of you," Jonah reassured. "What's your name?"

"(Y/N)," she replied.

"That's a beautiful name you got there."

She blushed, "I actually really like you. Ever since I've seen you on television, I started to crush on you"

"I think I'm falling for you too." Jonah starts to lean down to her lips. (Y/N) tiptoes to reach his lips. Their lips almost connect and- she wakes up finding herself making out with a pillow. (Y/N) turns her head to check the clock and on her bedside table is a ticket to a Why Don't We concert.
