So imma choose songs relating to team RWBY and explain why I chose them

This song from the lyrics is about someone who is looked up to as a leader.

In the show Team RWBY, the remaining members of Team JNPR and Oscar
All look up to Ruby for leadership.

They all need the best of her to guide them and lead them

The hook really shows this

"They looking right at me

To see if i believe
They looking up to me
They want the best of me now
Best of me now
Best of me now"

In Volume 1 you see Ruby ridiculed by Weiss because she doesn't see that potential that Ruby has as a leader.
But you then see the talk Ruby had with Jaune showing that she knows what it takes to be a great leader.

Right now Team RWBY and the rest need the best of Ruby to lead them
To motivate and inspire them
They need the best of her to look up to

Weiss Schnee

Katy Perry - Wide Awake

It's no secret that Weiss is my favourite character in RWBY

Her character development has been amazing
She is no longer a stuck up ignorant bitch
She's now a caring, selfless woman who fights for herself and her friends.

This song fits her because she's wide awake to her father's atrocities and no she has broken free from his patriarchal prison and now is trying to redeem her name and fight for the survival of remnant

The last line here is what I want to focus on "Need nothing to complete myself, no"

In Volume 3 we see that Weiss depended on the company for everything in her life
But now she's strong enough to stand on her own.

Also we see the mirror she confides in and talks to.
This mirror showed the divide, the duality between her mind and heart.
She was split in two
But in volume 4 especially in the song "The Life is Mine" (My favourite song in all of RWBY)
We learn that she has taken a stand and her mind and heart have agreed and shattered the mirror.
She is whole again and she doesn't need anything else to complete her now
As said in that line from the song I've chosen.
