I closed my eyes.
"Yes." I whispered. Mabel stepped back.
"Dipper?" She repeated. I nodded, on the verge of crying golden tears. I floated down. Mabel ran forward to greet me, but was held back by the summoning barrier. I sighed.
"You can't come in. Not unless you want to make a deal." I said. Mabel's eyes brimmed with tears. I wanted to do so much. I wanted to hold her, to tell her it would be alright. I had watched her from the safety of the Mindscape after I had seemingly "disappeared". She had lost so much, her own twin brother.
And I could do nothing about it.
"You're right, you can't. *laugh* You beat yourself up about so much. It's worthless. You're worthless. You wouldn't be here without me, would you?" Bill? I thought.
Mabel ran through the barrier, exclaiming,
"I'll make a deal!" I stepped back in surprise. Ford narrowed his eyes.
"Are you sure, Mabel?" She nodded, her tears threatening to spill.
"I just want my brother back!" She yelled. I held my head down, engulfing my hand in light blue flames. I could feel Ford's hate.
"Wait, what to you get in return?" He asked suspiciously. I close my eyes, holding my anger. This man was my family, for gods sake!
"My family." I said, holding up my head and hand.
"So, is it a deal?" Mabel nodded, grabbing my hand eagerly.
"Deal."
