An annoying message

Now I'm used to odd things happening to me, but I had hoped this year would be a little different. I mean this year had been going pretty good besides the fact that New York was attacked by the titans who could've destroyed the world and Rachel gave us another great prophecy to think about, but yeah this year was great I finally got Annabeth to date me and we stoped the titans. Anyway, all this to say that no this year didn't turn out any differently. When Annabeth and I were traveling through New york to get back to my house an Iris message appeared in front of us so we went into an alley and the image focused, it was Chiron. "Ah good, I got the two of you."

"What's the matter, did something happen at camp?" Annabeth asked getting right to the point.

"Yes, Rachel has returned saying that she needs the two of you to return."

"Anyone else?" I asked I was pretty sure that this vision was about more than me and Annabeth, but then he waved his hand through the mist and the message vanished.

"Well, that was weird."

"Yeah, we should go tell your mom that we have to leave."

So we headed for my house, when we got there, Paul wasn't there and my mom was about to start cooking. She was glad the war was over, because she doesn't have to worry about me as much, and me and Annabeth go almost everywhere together.

"Hey, mom we need to talk."

"About what?" She asked smiling.

While me and Annabeth explained what we saw, her smile began to fade, when we finished. "Well, I guess it was too much to ask for a little time of peace, well I drive you there." She said, happy, that she can spend the time it takes to drive there, with us. So, we spent the trip over there talking, by the time we reached camp, my mom was feeling better even though we were leaving.

"Bye, mom."

"Thanks, Mrs. Jackson."(a/n it could also be Mrs. Blofis, but I'm not sure and I like Jackson better anyway.)

"Bye, honey and bye Annabeth." My mom replied and drove off after we got our stuff.

"Well let's go see what Rachel needs from us."

We walked up the hill to the big house. When we walked in Chiron, Nico, and Rachel were talking, then they noticed us. "Ah, they finally are here, that leaves one more," Chiron said.

"One more?"

"Yes, my vision showed one more demigod," Rachel answered.

"Who?"

"Thalia Grace." Oh, well that was obvious. I thought.

"Yes, well her and the rest of the hunters should be here shortly." Chiron said,

"So, Rachel what was your vision about?" Annabeth asked.

"I'm not really sure, it had to do with monsters, the hunt, and 8 specific people."

"8, but you said we only needed one more, who are the others?"

"I don't know, I think they're mortals, very, very powerful mortals."

"Where do you think we could find powerful mortals?" Annabeth asked, probably thinking up ideas as we speak

"I think, that's what we'll need the hunt for." Nico chimed in which was startling since he hadn't said a word.

"That makes sense if anyone could track them it would be the hunt," Annabeth said clearly deep in thought.

Just then a knock brought her back to reality. I opened the door and it was Thalia. She walked in and asked, "Well what happened?"

So, we explained Rachel's vision and what we guessed it meant. As we finished, Rachel almost collapsed but Nico and I caught her and sat her in a chair. Then the green mist came out of her mouth as well as the spirit of Delphi's voice. Children of mind, sea, earth, and air. A new burden they shall bear. Monsters will rise. For their ultimate prize. Hope shall burn bright. In the mortal's silver light. For three great power shall swoon. But not for the son of the moon.

"Well, this is going to be interesting," Nico remarked.

"Why, what did I say." We repeated the prophecy to her.

"Well, maybe we should try and figure some of it out," Annabeth said.

"Well the first line most likely means us." Nico figured. "The child of the sea obviously is Percy, The child of the mind being Annabeth, Child of air is Thalia, and the child of the earth is me."

"That sounds about right," Annabeth replied.

"The next two lines probably go together with our burden being the monsters, but any ideas on the prize," Thalia added.

"No, I don't have any ideas what that could mean."

"Ok, well the next two lines probably have to do with the mortals Rachel mentioned." I said,

"Maybe that silver light is that power I saw in my vision." Rachel chimed in "And the last two lines might also be referring to three of the mortals, but the son of the moon, wouldn't that mean..." she stopped talking and starred at Thalia, then the rest of us caught.

"Artemis, but she couldn't and wouldn't have a child, especially a son."

"I don't know maybe it means something else but I couldn't tell you what." Then the door opened and a 12-year-old girl walked in.

"Lady Artemis, what is it you need." Thalia questioned,

"You 5 shall accompany me to Olympus, the gods, wish to speak with you."

Ok, this was sudden, one minute we were given a prophecy, the next the gods called us for a meeting. "Ok" Annabeth replied. "About what?"

The goddess look at her irritated. "A new prophecy now let's go." She snapped her fingers and suddenly we were in Olympus.

All 12 gods were on there thrones, even Artemis who should've been on the ground with us, but whatever. "From what I understand is that the oracle gave a new prophecy." Zeus's voice boomed throughout the throne room.

"Yes, Lord Zeus, that is correct," Annabeth answered.

"Would you mind, repeating that prophecy?" Hera asked,

So we did and then the gods sat there all thinking. "We have tried to make sense of some of these lines if it would help," Thalia said to break the silence.

"Alright tells us what you think it means," Athena replied.

"Well, we believe that the 1st line refers to us." She motioned to me, Nico, and Thalia. "Because of a vision Rachel had about us and four powerful mortals. " she continued.

"Powerful mortals, what kind of power did they have?" demanded Zeus.

"I don't know, Lord Zeus, but I know they are very powerful," Rachel answered.

"Right, and the next three lines of the prophecy, probably all have to do with each other." Thalia changed the subject.

"With our burden having to be the monsters that have come to claim some prize." Annabeth agreed.

"The two lines after that we think have to deal with what the mortals' powers are," I added wanting to sound useful.

"The next we think might also referring to the mortals and three of them being tempted by some great power, and we have no idea for the last one." Nico finished.

"Very well, we shall now return you to camp half-blood," said Zeus. Just then a huge flash of white light appeared in front of us.
