After a day of training, the conch horn blew signaling dinner. Levi and John followed me up to the pavilion. Julia went to find Annabeth, and the same with McKenna and Thalia. When we sat down the naiads brought us our food, and we offered some to the gods. Levi's offering again gave the scent of pine. Then we sat back down.

"Levi?" I asked trying to solve the mystery of the scent, "Which god do you offer your food to?"

"Well, none of them particularly. I just say "to the gods.""

"That's odd, unless you were a demigod that shouldn't have released that smell."

"Maybe it's just the god that I'm most similar to." He replied.

"Well, I think you should ask Annabeth about it. If anyone could figure it out she could."

"I will, but for now I'm famished." He said.

"Famished? We just ate a few hours ago." I pointed out.

"Yeah, but I had to use a lot of my magical energy to enchant that staff. Using up large portions of magic energy tends to make you hungry." Levi replied

I just agreed and started eating my food. We ate in silence until about halfway through my meal.

"Percy, if I were to ask you which goddess you would associate with pine trees which would come to mind?" Levi questioned

"Well, I don't know much about the gods, but I would have to say either Demeter or Artemis." I responded "Why?"

"I need to see something." He said getting up.

I didn't see Levi until sunset when the Athena cabin was explaining the plan to win capture the flag. He was next to Annabeth helping her go over it with the rest of camp. In short the plan was to create three separate groups. The largest would be led by the Ares' and half of the Athena cabin. It was composed of most of the campers and would serve as a distraction. Then another group would be led by the Hermes' and the rest of the Athena cabin. It would have some of the sneaker members of camp. They were pretend to be the force trying to take the flag, but in reality they would really just be distracting the rest of the hunters. The true group of people who were after the flag was a group of 4, Annabeth, Levi, Julia, and me. We were supposed to sneak around while the others would keep the hunters attention. As for the people defending our flag, John would be the one actually defending it, while McKenna would keep an eye out in the forest.

Some of the campers didn't necessarily want complete strangers to take such important roles, but they also didn't want to argue with Annabeth. So as we all went to our places Annabeth and Julia caught up with me.

"Where's Levi?" I asked

"He'll be here soon, he's placing the flag." Annabeth said grabbing her Yankee's cap out of her pocket.

About two minutes later Levi appeared seemingly out of nowhere. "Y'all ready?" We nodded "then let's go."

We went into the forest, and we made sure to make as little noise as possible. Levi whispered something into Julia's ear. She nodded and the her eyes glowed white for a brief second.

Ok, so I connected our minds with a telepathic link. So whenever you try to talk instead of actually talking, your thoughts will be transferred to the others' minds. Don't worry, only thoughts you want to be sent will actually go, so you can still keep your thoughts private. I heard Julia's voice in my head.

Alright, now then if you wouldn't mind leading the way. Levi said, or thought or whatever.

Julia's staff started to glow, and then a faint blue trail of mist appeared in front of us. It snake through the trees until it went out of my vision.
