An empty void fills my chest
Right where my heart should be
I no longer feel emotions
Even for those I love
I see her in pain
The girl for me with tears
Glistening and streaming down her face
But I stand at a distance
Unsure of what to do and scared
No words come to mind
Even though I want to say something
That brightens even her darkest day
The fact that I stay silent
And stand back without a word
Drives a spike between us
Moving us apart as enemies
She forsakes me and leaves
Leaving my new found feeling of Love
An empty void filling my chest
