Emily Keller, twin to Kevin Keller, has always been a little different. She never was one to stick out in a crowd. She was always with her best friend, Jughead. Though she always saw him as more than just a friend.
Emily's POV I was in the student lounge with everyone. Betty was telling us about how she found Polly hiding in her attic last night. " I don't want Polly to run away. But if she can't live at home, then I don't know, I can rent her an apartment." Betty said sadly " Let me talk to my mom." Veronica said " No, you have your own stuff you're dealing with right now, V." Betty said " Betty, Polly needs doctors, she needs prenatal vitamins She needs her family." Veronica said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Me and Betty were in the Blue and Gold office when Cheryl walked in. " What do you want, Cheryl?" Betty asked " What we both want.For the baby to be safe. How can I help?" Cheryl asked " You can't, I don't trust you, Cheryl." Betty answered " So don't trust me. Watch me like a hawk. Tell me the barest minimum. But let me help you help Polly." Cheryl said " You think Polly's crazy." I said " I do, I think she's crazier than a serial killer on bath-salts, but so what? She's carrying Jason's baby. That trumps everything. Do you know where she is?" Cheryl asked " If I did, I wouldn't tell you" Betty said lying terribly " Oh, my God, you do." Cheryl said with a smile " What? No." " Wow, you are literally the worst liar I've ever encountered. Spare me the details, Betty. Just tell me how I can be of assistance to my darling nephew or niece." " Okay, uh, Polly needs money. For a safe place to live. And for medical stuff." Betty said " Cash? Is that all? I can talk to my mom and dad." Cheryl started but was soon interrupted by Betty. " What? No, Cheryl." She said " Jason's baby is a game-changer. We're all on the same team now." Cheryl said convincing Betty. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I walked into Pops to get my order for me and Veronica. I was going over to her place to get ready for our night out and then we were going to meet everyone else at the club. I went up to the counter to see if my food was ready but Pop said I had to wait a few minutes. I looked around the diner and spotted Archie, Jughead, and their dad's in a booth so I walked over to them. " He writes for the Blue and Gold with Betty and Emily" Archie said as I walked up. " I heard my name" I said " Hey Emmy" Jughead said " Hey Jug" I said then turned to the the others " Archie, Mr Andrews, Fp." " Hey Emily, look at you all grown up. It's been a while since I've seen you" Fp said " Yeah" I said. " Care to join us?" Fp asked " I would but I'm picking up food for me and Veronica. We are hanging out with Kevin, Josie, and Reggie tonight" I said " Reggie?" Jughead asked with a hint of jealousy. " Relax Jug, we are just hanging out" I said " Well, it's Reggie, can't be to careful" Jughead said " Dude, are you jealous?" Archie asked " No" Jughead said " It's Okay Jug, I appreciate the concern" I said " Maybe after you can come over?" I asked " Yeah" He said " okay cool, I'll call you later" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek. " Since when have you two been dating?" Fp asked " Since towards the beginning of the school year" Jughead said " Well, it took you two long enough. I've been waiting for you two to get together for a while now" Fp said with a smile. " Emily" Pop called signaling my food was done " Well that's my cue" I said " See you guys later" I then walked to the counter and grabbed my food. " Thanks Pop" I said handing him a twenty to pay for the food. " Of course Em, and it's on the house" Pop said " Thanks, see you soon" I said walking out the diner. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
