Too much

She trembles as the blade toches her skin
For it all feels too much
She tries to cope and keep the hope
To not let her soul get crashed
Completely ruined, beyond repair

As the cold metal cuts into her flesh
Everything inside hurts a little less
And makes a little more sense
Every overflowing emotion is now going
Into warm red rivers on the freezing bathroom tiles

She knows, she knows it's not the right thing
But with no one by her side
Nothing feels more comforting
Than when on her skin, the blade strides
