Scouted

Currently right now I'm setting up to perform by a small cafe right now. The owner also known as my friend Ha Chae-Won, that is also 6 years older than me, has requested me to perform at her cafe today. I've only done little gigs though nothing big though. Sometimes I'll be at the park working for tips, or I'll be performing at little cafes and diners like what I'm doing right now.

As I then finished setting up I go sit down on a stool and get my guitar ready. I can already see Chae-Won in the crowd giving me a thumbs up. I then take a drink of water then start to sing 'Butterfly' by BTS and soon close my eyes.

As soon as I started singing it soon ended with me snapping out my trance by the clapping of the audience. I can still see Chae-Won giving me a thumbs up with a huge smile on her face.

Then I soon got off the mini stage to be greeted by a man in a business suit. "Can I help you?" I asked. "Yes you can... hi I'm from jyp entertainment and I was wondering is you'd like to become an kpop trainee under jyp entertainment?" After he said this I gat a bit shooked because never in a lifetime did I think I was a good singer to be scooted by a kpop company.

"Can I have second? I need to go call my mother." I said, still not believing this. "Sure, here is my business card. Call me when have made your decision." And with that he left.

I then turn around and go call my mom. ring ring ring "Hello?" I heard my mother's voice say. "Omma, I just got scouted while performing at Chae-Won's cafe."

"That's wonderful honey" she said. "I'm about to accept it but I wanted to call you first." "I say to do what your heart is telling. I know that you really want to be a singer but I don't want to pressure you into anything." She said.
"Thank you for the news. Bye now." I said then hung up.

Well I guess I know my decision is now.
