(Bolt's ghost is in this and the memories are in this)
Penny sniffles as her mother drove them home. "Oh honey..." Sally looked at her daughter sadly and Mittens was crying silently.
Sally looked at a pet store and drove over. She knew a dog could never replace Bolt, but she didn't want her daughter to be upset forever. She parked the car and walked in the store.
Penny looked up to see her mother holding a white dog and she started crying. Mittens and Rhino comforted her. "I know this dog will never replace Bolt or be him, but please cheer up" Sally said and sets the dog on Penny's lap.
She got in and started the car. They drove home.
(They are magically in the house)
Penny sets the dog down and softly cried. Mittens meowed. Everyone thought they heard barking and Penny felt something comfort her. Bolt lays his head on Penny's lap and licks her hand.
Penny gasped. "Bolt?" She asked, crying. There was a lot whimper so everyone knew Bolt's ghost was in that room. Sally felt her heart break as she watched her daughter and heard the whimper. She loved Bolt just as much as Penny did and it hurt her.
"Bolt?" Mittens whispered, starting to cry too. "Mittens, don't cry" Bolt told the cat and smiled sadly at her. "I know they can't hear us but you are good at writing. Please let them know that I'm watching them from above and that I don't want them to cry. Differently Penny. And tell them that I'm glad they got a new dog but it can't replace me" he added.
Mittens almost started crying and nodded slowly. She got paper and a pen. She writes down what the ghost said. Rhino watched as tears fell from everyone's eyes and tried not to cry himself. Mittens nudged Penny and she reads the paper.
"Mom" she said and Sally walked over. She reads the paper and hugged Penny. They all cried but they knew Bolt was watching them from Heaven.
