A lonely road was traveled
"Off the beaten path," they always say.
The struggle was avoidable
"Unavoidable"... I would say.
I've traveled on this journey
It is one I simply abhor
However, the instantaneous innocuousness of it can be difficult to ignore
Forgotten family and friends
Servants of denial
So hard to think our actions are anything more than a downward spiral
For we force to forget the beginning and not believe in the end.
See the future as a continuum with nothing necessary to mend.
