Chapter 3: Where It All Begins

Maddies Pov:

"So, my house after school?" I ask Harry while we where sitting down at lunch taking a bite of my turkey and lays chips sandwich. "Sure," he says, not looking at me. Something's on his mind and it's driving me crazy. He's barely listening in our own conversation and his eyes keep wandering off. "Haz," I say waving my hand trying to get his attention, "helloooo,". "Oh, sorry, yeah?" he says finally snapping back into reality. "So how was the math test?" I ask as Steph comes and sits next to us.

Harry's POV:

I keep thinking about that text. What does it mean? Nothing.. Just forget it. "Haz," I see a hand wave in front of mine, "helloooo,". "Oh, sorry, yeah?" She asks about the math test and as I'm telling her, Steph comes and sits with us, reminding me of the text. "Hey Harry, hey Mads!" she says messing up my hair and sitting next to Maddie. "Sup," I say, trying to sound casual. "Heard you talking about the math test, I have that next," Steph tells me opening her sack lunch. "Yeahh.. pretty easy" I tell her taking a sip of my caprisun. Her and Maddie start talking and I see Maddie whisper something in Stephs ear and Steph starts laughing, "You know it's true!!". "Im gonna go see Max.." I say getting up. "K byee hazzz, see ya after school!" Maddie says and with that I go head over to Max and my other friends. "Yooo!" I say scooting in with him. "What did you finally finish talking to Maddieeee?!" Max laughs. I sigh, "Guys, she's just my best friend,". I should've stayed there.

Maddies POV:

"So, truth or dare?" I asked Harry. We were sitting on my bed playing truth or dare. "Dare" he chooses. "I dare you to put on this bra and go run around my house" I say with a smirk across my face, picking up a bra, and handing it to him. It was pink and had bright yellow stars on it. Perfect. He finally did it and it was hilarious! My parents started laughing really hard and my mom joked around saying she would call his mom. "Ok, my turn" he says happily. "Why so happy?" I ask him. "No particular reason..", he laughs, "So, truth or dare?"

Harry's POV:

"Truth!" she replies back instantly, just what I wanted her to. "Sooo, why did Steph text you with a heart this morning?" I ask, a smile appearing on my face. Her face turns bright red, "Actually, dare,". "Ok, fine with me," she sighs, as I look over to her, "Your dare is to.. Answer my question!" She rolls her eyes, "But Harry!! You can't do that!" "Yes I can!" "Ok fine, well cuz she thinks.. I.. Um.. I like you.." she says while turning away. "Well, do you?" I asked her. This was my one and only chance.

Maddies POV:

"Well, do you?" he asks me. My heart was racing so fast. I wanna tell him, but what if he doesn't like me back. "I.. Well.. Yeah" I grab my pillow and shove my face in it. I can feel it burning. "I.. Uh.. Erm kinda.. Love you too.." I hear. I look up and he's smiling, his cheeks a bright pink.
