Chapter 4 : Friends

MY POV

After school, I quickly headed to my shift at the mall before I was late. When I reached, I went to the staff's room and wore my uniform. Then I went out and went to a cashier and started helping out customers to check out their groceries.
As I was working, I recognized some people from my school. *Oh no.* Then they came to my cashier and said
"Woah, who would work as a cashier register? Pssh, how unfortunate."
"Arsh, she shouldn't be in our school."
"Duh, she's embarrassing us!"

"Erm, miss, if you don't have any problems, I'll help other customers now." I muttered.
Then, they rolled their eyes and stormed off. I continued helping out other customers and tried my best to ignore everything that happened when EXO was here. *Shit!*
"Oh look, Sarang the worker is here." Lay said and everyone laughed except for Chanyeol who's giving an apologetic look. *Why can't all of them be like Chanyeol?* I just hung my head down low.
Then Sehun said, "Aren't you going to check out our groceries? Or do you want us to tell your manager and get you fired?"
I was super scared by that statement. I wanted to keep my job.
"Ah, no sir I'm sorry, that'll be 159000 won please." I said carefully, avoiding any mistakes.
He then flashed out his golden card. *Woah, he's so rich!* I kept on staring at in until,
"Are you going to take it or not?" He said.
"Haha, she probably never seen that card in her life before." Tao said and everyone laughed, again except for Chanyeol. * He was true, I've never seen one before."
"Ah yes, I'm sorry sir" I said and swiped his card and returned it to him. Then they all went off without saying a word, but before Chanyeol left he sent me a charming smile that could melt any girls heart. I just responded with a light smile.
After and hour later my shift was done. *Phew, all done! Though work today!*

-AT HOME-

As I entered, mom greeted me and I hugged her.
"Sarang, how was your first day of school?" She asked.
"Erm, it was fine." I lied.
I didn't want to continue the topic so I switched subject.
"What's for dinner today?" I asked.
"Oh, we're having my famous kimchi spaghetti!" Mom exclaimed.
*Kimchi spaghetti was one of my favorite dishes ever since I was little, especially if it was made by my dearest mom.*
"Yum! Thank you mom! "
She nodded and I rushed off to the dining area and ate happily ignoring everything negative that happened.
After I was done, I headed to my room and took a hot relaxing shower to release all of my stress. When I was done, *All better!*
I went out with my PJs which were a bunny tank top and some bunny shorts which were really short.
I went to my desk and took out my homework assignments which needed to be done.
After an hour I was done and exhausted. *All done!*
I switched off my lamp and snuggled tightly in my warm, cozy bed. And soon, I drifted to dreamland.

-THE NEXT MORNING-

"No!! Get away from me! Don't rape me!! AAAH GET AWAY!!!" I yelled.
Then I suddenly woke up.
*So it was just a dream. Phew*
My forehead was covered in sweat and my pillow was soaked.
I dreamed that Sehun was rapping me. What a weird dream huh?
I took a glance at my clock.
8:30 AM
Shoot. I'm late.
I sprinted to the bathroom and got ready. I didn't have the time to choose and outfit so I just wore a hoodie and some matching sweat pants.
Then I went downstairs.
"SARANG! Finally you're awake!" Mom exclaimed.
"Why didn't you wake me up mom??!!" I yelled.
"Sarang! I woke you up multiple of times but you kept screaming don't touch me! So I just decided to leave you! Now no talking I made this on-the-go sandwich for you on the bus. Go go go!" Mom said.
"Alright bye mom!" I yelled while grabbing my sandwich.

-IN SCHOOL-
I made my way to my first class which already almost over.
When I entered panting hard, everyone's eyes looked towards me.
*i feel so embarrassed now.*
"I'm sorry teacher that I was late." I said and bowed.
"STAND OUTSIDE THE CLASS NOW. DETENTION AFTER SCHOOL." He yelled. This teacher did not like students being late.
Students were giving me glares and some were whispering and giggling. I just hung my head low and stood outside.
While I was standing outside, I saw Chanyeol from a sight.
Then I saw him coming towards me.
*Please don't talk to me.*
And he approached me,
"Hey Sarang." He greeted
"Er... hi Chh Chanyeol." I muttered.
"Why are you standing outside? He asked.
"Oh uh.. I was late to school."
"Oh, anyways I wanted to tell you something every since I met you." He said.
*Oh my gosh!!!*
"Y.Yes?"
"Can we be friends? Like giving greets and starting conversions whenever we meet each other?" He said smiling shyly.
*OMG PARK CHANYEOL WANTS TO BE MY FRIEND!!!!*
"Are you sure? I might embarrass you" I said looking down.
"Nah it's alright, you won't" He replied with a lovely smile.
"Okay then."
"Friends?"
"Friends." I answered he then said goodbye and left.
*I feel like the luckiest person alive!*
