Nomanda|Will it last? Is it meant to be?

How it ends...

One day after regionals...

Amanda's sitting alone in Java Junction thinking to herself. She's unable to face the team but she knows no one will be here now because they planned to go to Wonderland for the day. "I can't believe Riley pulled me out of the finals dance. I don't know what I'm going to do now, I can't go back to a troupe after what happened." Amanda thinks to herself. "I wonder if I can still get the spot on the tour." She wonders. 

Amanda pulls out her phone and calls Giselle. "Hey, Giselle." Amanda says hesitantly. "Oh hey, Amanda. How did the finals go?" Giselle asks her oblivious to what happened with Amanda being pulled from the finals. "Umm... Not well." Amanda says at last. "Why? What happened?" Giselle anxiously asks. Amanda starts crying saying what happened out loud. "Riley pulled me from the finals dance... Michelle came back and there were 11 dancers so she pulled me out." Amanda tearfully says. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know that happened... " Giselle apologetically says. "It's okay." Amanda know's Giselle didn't know about the incident. "So is there any chance you still want the spot on the tour?"Giselle asks now that Amanda isn't going back to The next step. "Is it still free?" Amanda awaits anxiously for Giselle to answer. "Well we haven't filled the spot yet and you're the first choice, so if you want it it's yours." Giselle replies. "Ok, I'll let you know soon." Amanda says then hangs up. Amanda interview: "I definitely want the spot on the tour, but I don't know how I could ever leave Noah." 

Amanda glances down at her phone and sees she has an unread voicemail. She picks up the phone and learns it's from Noah. "Hey Amanda, it's me again. We really missed you in that dance. Give me a call when you get this." Noah said in the voicemail. Amanda realizes she hasn't talked to anyone from a troupe, including Noah that she doesn't even know if they won. Amanda feels bad for not listening to Noah's voicemail earlier because she knows he really cares about her. Amanda then looks down and sees two more voicemails from Noah that he sent after that one. Amanda picks up her phone to listen to them. "Hey Amanda, are you okay? I haven't heard from you for a while, please call me when you get this." Noah sounded like he felt really bad for Amanda. A single tear runs down Amanda's face because she feels bad for leaving Noah worrying about her. She braces herself to hear one more message from Noah. "Hey Amanda, it's me again I'm starting to get really worried please call me when you hear this." Another tear comes down Amanda's face. Amanda interview: "I feel really bad for not answering Noah because I don't want to have him worry about me. I should've checked my phone earlier."

Amanda looks down at her phone then hits Noah's name. She decides to call Noah to talk to him. Noah instantly answers his phone on the first ring. "Hey Amanda, are you ok?" Noah asks very concernedly. "Yup I'm okay." Amanda says trying to hold back tears. "You sure? You don't sound okay." Noah wants to make sure Amanda's actually okay. "I'm fine... I'm sorry for not answering my phone." Amanda says because she still feels bad about not answering Noah. "Don't worry about it, sooo what are you doing right now?" Noah asks. "I'm just sitting alone in Java Junction, so did you guys win?" Amanda asks just remembering that she doesn't know who won. "Oh umm, the Gemini's won." Noah hesitantly says. "Oh, I'm so sorry Noah." She says meaning it because she did want Noah to win regionals just not Riley. "I'm really sorry Amanda but I have to go." Noah says. "It's okay." She says knowing he has to do something. "I love you." He says. "I love you too." Amanda tells him back. "Bye." Noah says finally. He then hangs up the phone.

Later that day...

Amanda's still sitting alone in Java junction at a table in the middle. She's just sitting there on her phone and Noah walks in. He walks up to her table and taps her on the shoulder. "Amanda." He says. Amanda turns around and sees Noah. He instantly hugs her. After they hug he sits down next to her and holds her hands. "Hey, shouldn't you be with the team." Amanda asks. "Yeah, I left early. I needed to make sure you're okay." "Thanks, Noah." Amanda smiles. "So, what are you going to do for dance now?" Noah asks wondering if they'll ever dance together again. "I don't know what to do. I can't face a troupe again and Giselle told me the spot is still free on tour." Noah interview: "I had no idea the spot on tour is still available. I know Amanda's doing what's best for her but I can't imagine the studio without her." "If you still want the spot on tour, go for it. You're not betraying The Next Step and you'll be a professional dancer." "But, how can I leave you, Noah? We've been through so much this year and I don't want to give it up." Amanda tells him confusedly. "Look this is your chance to live your dream. Make your decision for you not for me." "Thanks." Amanda interview: "I have no idea what to do. This is a disaster all over again." 

A few hours later...

Noah's sitting on a couch in the lounge alone. He's thinking about Amanda. "Will she leave for the tour, or turn it down? Will she stay at The Next Step, or go somewhere else? Will they stay together, or break up?" The thoughts of some of those things he just can't take. But he can't help it. Amanda's his girlfriend, what will he do without her? Noah interview: "I can't stop thinking about Amanda. I don't know what she'll decide and I don't know how it'll turn out." Noah just sits there and keeps thinking every possible thing. "If she goes on the tour will they stay together? Noah gets so worried about what could happen next he starts crying. "If Amanda leaves I don't know how I'll be at the studio without her." 

A few days later...

Amanda's sitting alone in Java Junction again at the same table in the same spot. She sits there waiting for Noah to arrive. Noah walks in and sits next to Amanda. Amanda interview: "This is probably going to be the hardest conversation of my entire life. But it's what I need to do for my dance career." 

"Noah we need to talk." "Okay." Noah replies extremely worried because of everything he thought of a few days back. Before Amanda even says anything she starts crying. She grabs Noah's hands not knowing what else to do. "Noah, I'm going to be joining Giselle on the world tour." Amanda sobs even harder. Noah starts crying too. "I'm really sorry but  I need to do what's best for my dance career." Noah continues to cry expecting big changes. "Amanda, this is your time to show the world what you can do. You're going to rock the world tour." Amanda attempts to smile through all her tears but knows she's about to cry 10x harder. "Noah I'm so sorry but I'm breaking up with you." Amanda loses control and sobs extremely hard. Noah can't hold it in any longer and starts crying really hard too. "It's okay, enjoy your tour and just remember I'll be here waiting when you get back." "Noah! I love you more than anything. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life." Noah and Amanda are both sobbing hoping it'll somehow work out and they'll be together again. "Amanda I love you too, and I always will no matter where you are."

 Amanda gets up and hugs Noah tighter than ever. He gets up and hugs her back trying to make it last as long as possible. Amanda let's go of the hug and goes in to kiss Noah. They share a kiss then hug again while both sobbing. "Amanda, Thank you for the best 14 months of my life. I'd start it again in a heartbeat." "Noah these were the best 14 months of my life and the time will continue when I'm back. Noah finds a smile through all his tears hoping it's true. They hug one last time. Noah leaves Java Junction saying "I love you." "I love you too." Amanda tells him.
