Rumour Has It (Liam Payne Fanfic)

Im Zoey. I was born in the United States. When I was about 3, we moved to Londen. My mother met a guy, so we decided to move. When we were there, my mom and step-dad Bruce met a family who had a son my age. We got along great! Liam was my bestfriend! Nothing could seperate us.

As time went on, we didnt have any other friends. When we were five, we would be at the park, and play together. Two person tag, or hide n seek, or any other game that five year olds play.

At school, it was always us two. At lunch, when we were in the same class. Which was once a week in english class. And we would get in trouble for the stupidest things. Thats just the kind of kids we are.

Now, we are 15 years old. Liam had a beautiful singing voice and I could play guitar. We would go the hospital and play for the sick little kids. It was great! They all loved us.

"You should go on the X-Factor!" One little boy shouted. All the little kids agreed and started cheering and clapping. We just looked at each other and laughed.

"We will see about that. Come on Zo, its time to go!" Liam said to me.

"Okay Dr. Suess." We laughed and packed up our things.

We got into the car and Liam asked me, "Do you think I should go on X-Factor? Just to see what they say, yanno. And it would be cool. Exspecially for you. Everyone would wanna say they know me!"

"Shut up and drive pretty boy." He started the car, and we drove home.

*Zoeys Background*

Zoeys father died just before she was born. Her mother then met another guy and they moved to Londen. A few months later, they got married. Her parents met a family that had a son that was a year older then Zoey. They were bestfriends since then, and have been inseperable.

When Zoey was 15 and Liam was 16, Liam wanted to fufill his singing dream and left for the X-Factor.

"Im gonna miss you so much! Text me whenever you can, and we are oovooing every night. Not that we dont do that already, but whatever." I was huggung Liam tightly. We pulled out of the hug, and I slipped a purple and pink bracelet on his wrist. "Dont forget me." I gave him one last quick hug, and he walked into the taxi. The taxi started driving away and I got a text;

To: Leeyum

I feel like a part of me just died. I hope you have fun though! Dont worry, Ill be okay... eventually. Love ya!

Some people thought that me and Liam were dating. As if! Hes my bestfriend and I loved him! He was there for me through everything. I talked to him about everything. All the things girls are afraid to guys, like monthly friends, or anything, I talked to him about. He was always there for me. What am I going to do?

***That Night***

My laptop started going off. It was Liam. I pressed the answer button.

"What the hell?" I yelled. His hair was all, wierd, and he just looked... different. Who knew one day gone and he would be a different person.

"What? Do I look that bad?"

"Yeah, you look like the Gay patrol came and gave you a make over."

"Oh.. come on! Its not that bad! Hay... I had my first singing audition today!"

"How did you do? I bet you messed up!" Then all the sudden, a different voice yelled;

"Liam, who the hell are you talking to? Is it that girl you couldnt stop talking about all day?" Then a blonde haired boy appeared on the screen.

"This is Niall. Hes irish, if you couldnt tell."

"Hi, Niall."

"You thought I was wierd, you havent stayed in a room with him all day." We laughed.

"Well I gotta go Zo! Ill talk to you tomorrow! Love ya!" He signed off and I shut my laptop.

~Liams POV~

"Are you sure you arnt dating?" Niall asked me. Im sure. Now, it would be too awkward. Ive known her since she was 3."

"Whatever you say dude. Now go to sleep and text your girlfriend tomorrow." I threw a pillow at Niall and shut the lights off. I did really like Zoey...
