A/N- I'm sorry I have wrote in awhile but I've been busy. Also I won't be able to write for awhile after this because the time I usually write is at school during my computer hour, but I have to do a PowerPoint.

He's as dark as night,
She's as bright as day.

He's all pale and gloomy,
She all tan and preppy.

He wears dark colors,
She wears light colors.

You'd think they were polar opposites, right? You're wrong.

There's more than what meets the eye.

His dad is an alcoholic,
Her mom is an addict.

His dad beats him,
Her mom beats her.

He has bruises and scars, but nobody questions.
She had bruises and scars, but nobody looks deeper than the lies she tells.

Even though he quit hiding it,
And she hides behind fake smiles....

They're more alike than anybody knows.

A/N- What this poem is telling you, is to look deeper, and question it, because there could be something really wrong and you won't be able to help. I take credit to this one because I actually took time to do this. I'm not very creative so this might be the first and last time I write my own poem.
