CONNERS POV

I was so confused I didn't know what to do I was in this kingdom under our I house and to make matters worse I'm a flipping prisoner! I mean I just wanna die with a happy life that I've got left

I sat down quickly as my very boney and skinny legs couldn't take it anymore

I breathed heavily against a tree,I was alone in the woods with who knows what! And I'm only 12 years old I can't fight of that much

Suddenly I heard a rustle of leaves I jumped back

I kept hearing whispers saying

"Don't be afraid Conner don't be afraid"

I then heard a twig snap

That cracked me because I started running like I've never done before

I puffed and panted but I couldn't stop as I heard the hard thuds behind me

It wasn't a human it was a creature or something because a human doesn't pant like it was

Suddenly a very very large wolf jumped over me

I stepped backwards as I hear a growl behind me as I jolted forward I was circled bye wolves

The biggest one was jet black with blood stained paws and it had a large deep cut across its chest

It then spoke

"It's ok little human we don't wanna hurt you" he said as he walked forward

Suddenly his hair started to turn into clothes then into a human

He had black quite long hair for a guy

He had a tattoo of a wolf head on his shoulder

He was wearing a black muscle top and sweat shorts

"W...what do you want then?" I said trying to be tough and keep my body straight

"We want you're friend" he said calmly

"I don't have a friend" I said looking forward as he circled me

Then with quite fascinating speed he came behind me

He put his face near my neck

His presence made chills go down my spine as he spoke his breath which smelt of deadness and stuff I can't even explain

"Do you want me to make you or will you tell me where kye is?"

"Yeah well he's my brother not a friend!" I snapped

He snarled at me

"Calm down Caleb" said one of the wolfs

"Sparr dosnt want the boy dead" again said one of the wolfs

"Lucky for you" hissed Caleb

"Take him to the castle" snapped Caleb

"But with a warning on this boy..." He said giving me and evil grin as one of the red wolves suddenly struck me with its claw two times on my stomach making blood gush from it

I whimpered in pain as I fell to the ground as I tucked my knees in and went into a ball

"Caleb maybe we should take another one this one is to weak and we can't risk it,I can smell great fear on this boy and death...." He said confused

"Well be careful then!" Snapped Caleb as he then changed into a wolf and ran of in less than 3 seconds

Suddenly the red wolf leaned forward

I flinched thinking he was gonna eat me

But he grabbed the back of my t-shirt as if I was his own cub in his mouth

He then straightened his body as I felt his muscles tense

My stomach still hurt

"You guys go hunt why I bring the boy to the castle" he commanded as he ran with me in his mouth

My body swang around like a swing in his mouth as my stomach felt like it was gonna fall of and shrivel up into pieces

I then looked up to see the castle

Then he dropped me on the grass

In no time soon blood was all over the grass

The wolf looked at me with puppy eyes

He then licked my scratches

Suddenly my pain didn't hurt so much and the blood stopped

"Look kid for the record my name is clawd,and I don't wanna hurt you so just stay out of trouble" he said

He then looked worried as he ran off

I turned around to see kye with an old man with him

KYES POV

I looked up to see a figure on the floor slumped as if dead

I ran up to it to see it was Conner

"Conner!" I half yelled as I hugged him tightly

"H..hey" he replied weakly

I then saw 6 red bloody gashes across his stomach

"What the fuck happened to you!" I yelled

"Were wolves!" Said sully angrily

"It's been almost healed bye a wolf it's self" said sully angrily

"Where did you see them?!" I asked getting angry

"First of all who's this guy?!" Asked Conner pointing to sully

"He's my gran father" I exlaimed

"What no it can't be you're g-" I cut him off

"I'll explain it later now let's get you healed" I said helping him up

"It's a warning...." Said sully

"Wha?" I asked confused

"The wolf scratches,there a warning that they want someone and that they will attack again!" Yelled sully in frustration

"And the kids been marked!" He yelled again

"What's that?!" asked Conner worriedly

"It means the wolves will get you every time for bait for Eugene"

"Who's that?" Asked Conner

"I'll explain later" I said putting an arm around him

"Alright let's go to the castle" said sully
