Why do I always have to be so rude? Especially on a guy who did nothing but keep me company, and annoy the hell out of me.
Can you blame me?
He really looked like my unfaithful-dead-ex-boyfriend.
I'm glad he's dead. And now, this immortal thing that possessed his dead body, brought himself back to life and intruded my life, again, told me that he had a crush on me. I can't seem to handle all of these. And fuck his special powers that he used on me multiple times.
I needed to rid of him.
But how?
We were outside at some cheap diner, with bacons, pancakes, burgers, fries and waitresses who's eye-fucking Lucas.
He ordered all of these including three extra large of strawberry milkshake and I'd been checking every minute inside my purse to see if I can afford all of it. The blonde waitress slipped a paper to him after placing the tray on the table. Lucas grinned and winked at her, slipping the paper inside his jacket.
Like, seriously? Hello, I'm still here?
It felt like I'm with Philip but he's hitting other girls. I frowned at the thought.
"What's your problem?" he asked while stuffing his mouth with a burger. He already consumed half of it.
"What do you think? I don't have money for this shit," I hissed and pointed towards the table. It didn't look appetizing anymore.
"Ah... You don't need to pay for all these. I can use my charm," he winked then opened the lid of the milkshake and gulped it. He burped after emptying it.
"Yeah, very charming," I whispered.
"Hey, excuse me?" he asked the blonde waitress that was staring at him the whole time. She chirpily ran towards our table and Lucas asked for the bill and she said a forty-one dollar and twenty.
That's too much for a breakfast.
"Great," he muttered. When I peeked in my purse, he stopped me with his hands and he smiled, "No, honey. It's on me." He winked and I let him pay for it all.
He took the paper the waitress gave him and gave it to her. "Here. Keep the change," he said in a manly tone and he escorted me out the door.
"Thank you!" she yelled and Lucas looked behind just to wink at her.
"Stop making eye contact! She's been eye-fucking you for hours." We made it to the park near my house. We didin't brought the car because the diner was near my place.
The park was lively, there were children on swings and slides and they're all oblivious that a devil was watching them. Creepy, huh?
Walking side by side with a devil wasn't that terrifying at all, but rather comforting. Don't worry, I find it weird too.
We sat at an empty bench, and the sight was magnificent. The rays of the sun gave us warmth and I closed my eyes.
"What are you thinking?" he asked and I had to look at him. Philip watched me, waiting for a reply.
"Thinking about... what could Philip be doing right now."
