"But maybe it isn't" I tell her, wiping away her tears from her beautiful green eyes. I look deep into them, and realize that she is the most beautiful human being ever created.
Emma's P.O.V
She wipes away my tears and I immediately lock eyes with her. She has the most beautiful light brown eyes. And then the most unexpected things happen...
She grabs the sides of my face and kisses me. Surprisingly I kiss her back. She pushes me away and walks behind her desk.
"Um...I think you should go." I hear her say.
"What do you mean..."
"I said go." She says again turning her head to the window to not look at me.
"But Ms.Mi-" I say but get interrupted immediately.
"Go!" She yells and I slightly back up before I pick up my backpack and leave. She kissed me...whoa. Half of me was surprised and the other was excited. As much as I loved the kiss I know I could never go out with her...she's a teacher. I close my eyes and breathe deeply. "It was just a simple kiss." I quietly say trying to remind myself. I walk home. And once I get there I realize that the door wasn't locked.
Neal is here. Ready to get beat? I think to myself. I had two choices. 1. Run 2. Go in there get beat and just cry myself to sleep. I wanted to run so badly but I knew I would end up getting beat anyway so why not just take it now? I walk in slightly shaking. Completely scared. I slowly walk up to the staircase and the first chance I get to run up to my room, I take it. I run as fast as I can. As soon as I lock the door and turn around I feel a good slap right across my face. That had to leave a bruise. My body became weak and I fell to the floor. I'm laying down, back flat on the ground while he kicks me right in the stomach, screaming "WHORE!" I just cry and cry.
"Get the hell out!" I yell. The next thing I know I black out.
*2 hours later*
REGINAS P.O.V
I cant believe I kissed her. This was my fault. It always is. I already have Kayla, what more could I want? I kick myself out of my thoughts and pack up all of my things. After, I lock the door and get in my car. I just sit there with the thought of her lips on mine. I get extremely anxious. What did I just do? I drive to Granny's to order a hot beverage. As soon as I arrive i walk into Granny's, order my cinnamon latte and sit down. I get out my phone and my headphones from my back pocket and listen to my music blasting and just think. As soon as i finish my latte, i sit there for a little while longer. I out my head down, and pretty soon drifted off to sleep.

I get woken up by someone picking my shoulder. I open my drowsy eyes and look up to find Ruby standing in front of me.
"Don't you think it's time for you to go home?" She says.
"Oh shoot, I didn't realize I fell asleep. What time is it?" I say pulling out my phone.
"It's 7:30, the diner closes in 30 minutes. If you want to stay here thats fine but we will be closing up pretty soon." She says putting her hands on the table.
"Oh no thank you. I should be heading home. I'm sorry." I say getting up and picking up my purse to start heading out the door.
"Of course! Goodbye Regina!" I hear her yell before I step out.
"Bye." I say under my breath as soon as I get in my car and drive home.

Emma's P.O.V
I wake up with a stinging pain in the back of my head. My eyes open slightly, before I opened them all the way. I couldn't tell where I as but pretty soon my watery green eyes came to focus to find that I was sitting on my bathroom floor with the light turned off.
"What the..." I say while trying to get up. My legs are in extreme pain but I choose to ignore it. I look myself into the mirror and see the three ugly bruises that are covering my neck. Hickies. I hated them so much. Especially by him. It made me feel like I was owned. I look myself into the mirror with disgust. The next thing I know, I'm bawling my eyes out. I cry and cry and slowly back up. As soon as I feel the cold wall on my back, I collapse. After what felt like hours of crying, I finally got up. I was angry and full of disgust.
I open the drawer and pull the small sharp blade out. And without thinking I slide it across my wrist four times, really fast. I wince in pain, and even from the pain I just start crying again. I put my arm over the sink and just watch the dark red liquid drip down from my now bruised arms. I cry, and lean against the wall. I lay down on the cold and hard bathroom floor and just drift off to sleep.
Regina's P.O.V
As soon as I approach my house, I quickly get out of the car and rush to the door. I walk into the living room, only to find Kayla laying down on the couch sound asleep.
I put everything down on the coffee table and take off my jacket and put it on the hanger right beside the door. I take off her shoes, while I watch as her precious body squirms. When I am done I walk upstairs to put them in our room. I head back downstairs and pick her up. With her small petite body, I softly lay her down on the bed and cover her with the thick blanket she loves so much. I get changed into something comfortable, turned off the light, and finally got to lay down. I move next to her and put my arm around her slim waist. I lightly kiss her neck with soft kisses filled with nothing but pure love.
"Hey babe." I hear her voice croak, while she slowly turns around.
"Hey sleepy head." I tell her.
"Where were you? You took a long time." She says with a tired smile.
"Nowhere, I just stopped at Granny's for a bit." I tell her.
"Okay, well goodnight, baby. I love you." She says before she kisses me.
"Goodnight, and I love you." I tell her before she puts her head on my chest and pretty soon we both drift off to sleep....
