Chapter 8: Unconditionally

"No. I need answers. Do you like me?" I ask her just trying to get the awkwardness over with.

"You really want to know?" She tells me.

"More than anything." I tell her.

"Well...."

Regina P.O.V

I was getting more and more nervous by the second.

"Well,  I think that your a very beautiful young girl but I'm sorry I don't like you like that, I have a life of my own." I tell her.

She puts her head slightly down.  "Then why'd you kiss me?" She says slightly smiling, raising a brow.

"I guess I just.... Got caught up in the moment." I lie.

"Well,  what if.... we can maybe make another one of 'those moments'" She says smiling  while coming closer. My breathing hitched in the back of my throat while I look around. No one.  She steps closer and when she gets close enough I back up slightly, not looking her in her eyes for a single second.

"Swan, this is highly inappropriate. " I tell her finally looking her in her eyes as soon as I feel the top of the bleachers hit my back and theres no room to run away.

"Do you have feelings for me?" She asks again stopping like 6 inches away from my face.

"I already told you. No I do not, your my student and I have a girlfriend." I say looking away once more. I feel her hands on my chin and I'm forced to look at her.  She steps closer. 

"I said, do you have feelings for me?" She asks again, and with every word she steps closer. I can feel her warm breath that smelt of Cinnamon brushing against my lips, and my palms start  sweating immediately. 

"Hmm?" She hums raising a brow with her hand still on my chin. 

I say nothing. No words can come out because im standing there shocked as ever. I clear my throat, and say "Swan, could you please back up?" I say looking her in her green eyes that i absolutely adore.

"Make. Me. " She teases with a serious face. The only way she'll back up is if i kiss her once more,  I thought. I quickly peck her on her lips and look down,  ashamed because i have just cheated on kayla twice now,  and i feel horrible.

Emma P.O.V

I love it when i make her nervous. She's absolutely  adorable when she is. I get closer with every word that comes out of my mouth and soon enough she gave a me a quick kiss and put her head down. I smile, and pick her head up.  I see her eyes and shes crying. What? I didnt mean to make her cry. I feel horrible and I dont know what to do other than kiss her again,  but properly. And that's exactly what I do. The kiss lasted like 3 seconds and when I kiss her I feel her relax into the kiss and then quickly pull away. She backs up and touches her lips. Then she does the worst thing.  She leaves. As I watch her leave,  I chase after her. 

"W-What happened?" I ask her trying to keep up with her extremely fast pace.

"I need to go. " She says wiping her tears continuing to walk a fast pace. 

"I-I can come with you. " I tell her, while criticizing myself for saying that when I already know the answer.

"Im fine. " She says but doesnt stop walking.

"Mills wait." I say slighting grabbing her upper arm.

She fiercly pulls back and turns around. "I have a girlfriend Swan! I have told you that,  i cant keep doing this, not to her.  Not to myself." She says looking down. 

"Then don't. We don't have to tell her.  You like me and I like you. " I say waving my hands around my waist.

"You see, thats the thing. I dont like you. Never have and never will." She says turning around and leaving. 

"I will make you!" I stop walking and yell out but all i see her do is wave her hand shooing me away. And then there i am, left in the parking lot lookng stupid while she drives away.

Regina P.O.V

She is the most stubborn person i know. I cant believe i kissed her twice. "Come in Regina,  you can do better than that.  You have a girlfriend and you want to start your story with her and thats it, No one else." I repeat to myself while driving to Granny's. I walk in and I already see her sitting down at our table with her back turned away from me. Kayla. I order what i need to or what im in the mood for,  which always happenes to be, Cinnamon  Cocoa. I place my cup on the table behind her quietly and sneak up behind her. She's on the phone with someone talking about work while sipping her coffee.

"Yeah, I completely agree, Merideth. " She says. I softly kiss her neck and she jumps turning around. "Shit, you scared the crap out of me Regina Mills!" She yells at me laughing.  "Hang on,  I'll call you back,  Meridith." She says and then hangs up not even waiting for a response.

"Babe, dont ever play with me like that again." She says smiling while getting up and wrapping her arms around my waist.

"Why not?" I tease her and then wrap my own arms around her neck. 

"Oh yeah?" She says raising a brow.

"Mhm." I hum taking her hand and holding it with my own.

"Just wait till we get home,  Mills. You'll practically be begging for me to stop." She says sitting back down and pulling me to the seat next to her.

"Will I?" I look at her taunting, having enough knowledge to know she will tease right back.

"You wanna bet?" She says and without warning, I immediately feel her hand go up my skirt and I immediately break into goosebumps. 

"Hey, you said when we get home." I tell her pushing her hand away.

"Yeah,  i thought so." She tells me finishing off her drink while i do the same. After we are done we finally head home and just like all day, I head home while thinking  of being with Emma, but instead being with Kayla.
