Should I do it?

"Mina what should i do? ㅠㅠ" I asked.

"You should definitely go to the audition!"

"You know how bad it is if my mom will find out. She's gonna kill me."

"She won't find it out, we'll keep it a secret."

"But what if.... i get accepted? Well, of course i'm not expecting anything but, what if???"

"Then we'll think about a solution when that happens. For now, don't miss this chance. I swear you'll regret it more if you don't go to that audition."

"I'm really nervous about this Mina."

"I'll be always at your back, Nayoung. Stop worrying now. I will always be here to help you. That's my job as your bestfriend. 😚"

"Awwww Mina, saranghaeeeeee ❤" I said while doing different hearts.

"Ya! Stop. I'm cringing" She said while laughing.

The week passed so fast. I was busy with school and practicing for the JYP audition that i didn't noticed that tomorrow is the day. I'm so nervous about this. I really want to do it, do my best and pass the auditions, but at the same time I'm scared on how I will explain to my parents afterwards. But like what Mina said, one problem at a time. I'll think about that if I passed. For now, lets concentrate with the audition first, Nayoung.

I prepare both singing while playing the piano (it's what i'm confident the most) and dancing. I asked help from my friend in music department to use the practice room after class. So every afternoon, I always practice. Sometimes I ask Mina and Hyunjin to watch me and check for things I need to improve.

"You are kinda offbeat on that part Nayoung. Try repeating that part." Mina pointed out.

"Uhhh I'm tired...."

"You're doing really well. I'm always amazed on how talented my bestfriend is." Mina said to cheer me up.

"You can do it!" Hyunjin said as he entered the practice room, his hands full of snacks. "Let's eat first so you can have energy."

"Yey. I'm hungry. Thanks." ㅠㅠ I replied.

I took a break and reached for my phone in my bag. I don't know but for the whole day, I'm waiting for Jihoon to message me. I told him about the auditions but he was only able to reply yesterday. He said they were filiming for a week and their phones were confiscated. (What crazy reality show did they filmed? Laws of the Jungle? ㅋㅋ) He congratulated me. He said I'm on another level because I was casted by JYP. I was waiting for his messages since morning, maybe, just maybe, he'll wish me good luck but i guess he's too busy again to message me. I'm not even important so why am i expecting too much...

"You'll practice till late night?" Hyunjin asked.

"I think I'll just practice a little more then go home. I'm only allowed here until 7pm anyways." I said.

"I'll accompany you home. You may trip while walking home and you can't be injured the day before the auditions." Hyunjin offered.

"You think i'm that clumsy???" I said with a sulky face.

"Yes." Hyunjin and Mina said.

Hyunjin walked me to my house. I think we are starting to get comfortable with each other again after what happened. We talked and joke around the whole time we were walking, just what we always do.

"Sorry I can't accompany you with the auditions tomorrow, I can't miss our training." He said.

"It's fine. Mina will go with me anyways."

We reached the front of my building. We said our goodbyes. Then he suddenly pulled me in and hugged me. My head is burried in his chest, I can smell his perfume he always use ever since we were in middle school. I always complain to him that it was too strong.

"I know you'll do well." He said while tapping my head. He let go of me then he flashed his bright smile.

I punched him lightly and jokingly. "Yah! Of course, I'll do well. I guess I should go inside now."

"Okay. Take care and good luck." He said while I wave him goodbye.

As I enter the door of our building, I saw Mingyu receiving food from the delivery guy. I waved at him.

"Noona! Have you eaten?" He asked.

"I ate some snack a while ago so I'm still full. You will eat dinner now?"

"Yeah. By the way noona, can I ask a question?"

"Sure but not anything about math. 😊"

He chuckled. "I won't ask about math. I'm just curious if the guy you are with a while ago is your boyfirend...."

"Wait... what? who?" Is he talking about Hyunjin?

"That guy... uhm hug...."

"Ahhhh no! He's just my... bestfriend."

"It's a relief."

"What did you say???"

"Ah nothing. I'm just curious, that's it. Anyways noona, i'm going. The food might get cold, the members might get mad at me. bye." Then he hurriedly ran up the stairs. I wasn't able to reply goodbye.

"Why didn't he used the elevator....?"

Jihoon's POV

We're finally back after filming a reality show on an island for a week. The PDs took our luggages and we need to live for a few days with only a survival kit that contains some things we were able to get from our luggages for 1 minute. We fished, cooked our own food, set up our own fire -- it was tiring but somehow it was fun.

They hid our phones and wallet for the whole filming that's why I only saw Nayoung's message yesterday. She was accepted in JYP? Amazing.

I was planning to message her tonight to say good luck but I don't know how to phrase it. Should I just say "good luck" or should i add more words or should I put some emoticons? Should I say it to her personally? I don't know how.

Since the day she transferred here, I notice myself looking up to her floor whenever I pass by our building. As I passed today, I noticed that the lights are closed. Is she not home yet or is she asleep?

As I entered the building, I saw Mingyu coming out of the elevator.

"Oh hyung. You're here. I'll just get the food we ordered." Mingyu said while pointing to the delivery guy

"Okay." I said.

I am waiting for Mingyu to finish when suddenly I saw Nayoung from afar walking home. She is with another guy, and he's handsome, and..... tall. The guy was carrying her things and they were laughing together. Suddenly, I felt something in my chest.

"Hyung, that's Nayoung noona right? She has a boyfriend???" Mingyu asked.

"How would I know?" I said as I took the stairs to our floor, leaving Mingyu.
