A Starkid Sibling's Journey

Assistance has arrived

It's been a few weeks since they started rehearsing for Starship at the dance studio that Nick and Matt rented. Starting from today they can finally rehearse at the venue. Even with the set being done up and stuff. I woke up, Brush my teeth and hair and went over to the living room and start working on some work because i was starting my junior year in a few weeks. Im going to be real, but starting in a new school with a sibling that is kind of famous?? I cannot cope with that!

I walked out to the living room to see Lauren on the couch re reading her lines for starship. I walked towards the kitchen to get a banana and went back to the kitchen.
"Good morning kiddio!" Lauren said as she quickly switched off the television to Hug me.
"Morning Lo! What are you doing??"
"Im just watching the TV! How about you? I know someone is preparing for their junior year of high school am i right?"
"Yup...I have done some studying and hopefully i can do my SATs by November!"
"Well you are smarter than you think that's for sure! Anyways get ready to leave for the theatre Brian & Meredith will get us soon!" Lauren said as she leaves the room to get ready.

I went back to my room grabbed my towel and took a nice warm shower. I wrapped the towel around my body and walked towards my room where I quickly changed into my outfit and packed my things in my backpack for the day.
I walked out to the living room and turned on the TV while waiting for Lauren to finish getting ready. I took out my phone and started calling my friends on my phone just to catch up with them. As I was about to finish the call with my friends, Lauren finally finished getting ready and was asking me to hurry up. I said goodbye to my friends and we went off to the theatre.

We arrived at the theatre after a while because stupid Brian forgot the food, I walked in to the theatre and sat at the audience area while they were about to practice for their show. I took out my laptop and started working on somethings for the new school that i was going to attend in a few weeks.
"Yo Luna can you help me for a bit! i need some help here!" I heard Matt yelled, I rushed over to where Matt was and helped him fixed that annoying chord that took forever.

Since i had nothing better to do with my time i choose to help Matt with the audio and set of the show, it took me a while to get the hang of things but I'm a fast learner so after Matt taught me all the things I needed to know, I was able to help work on the audio. It took me a while though to at least make sure it was okay. I walked over to where Corey was and helped him with the set, holding certain things for him in place so that it was easier for him to fix them.

"Wow Luna! You're more useful than we think!" Nick complimented me, I smiled back and got slightly shy in the process. By the end of the rehearsals for act 1 the set was half way done. I walked over to my seat and continued on my application for the ability to graduate high school one year earlier. Lauren also wanted to do that when she was in high school but the fear of her being at least 1-2 years younger than the rest kind of alarmed her in a way so she did continued her senior year.

I was lost in thought until Lauren called me to her dressing room. I put my laptop in my bag and walked over to Lauren's dressing room which she shared with Meredith and Jamie.
"Lunar thank god you're here! I want to show you something!" She said as she grabbed my and and dragged me over to the props.
"You see that?" Lauren points at the blue looking Pikachu.
"Uhh yeah why are you showing me this?" I asked Lauren looking very confused.
"You don't remember??? Oh My Gosh Luna!!!"
"Huh? i don't get it Lo! what is it your trying to hint at me! it's a blue looking pikachu for all i know!"

Lauren glared at me thinking I was joking with what i just said she dragged me over once again to her dressing room. Luckily Meredith and Jamie weren't there cause Lauren practically looked like she doesn't want anyone in her way.
She picked up the drawing on her table and passed it to me. It was a drawing from when i was still in 8th grade by then Lauren was already In her Sophomore in college. Looking back at it I remember loving to draw cute nonsense characters when I was younger and that drawing, I remember giving that to Lauren before she left again for college.
"Now do you remember? I mean it was one of the inspirations for the props and the puppets !"
"Yup i do...I didn't know you would keep this for that long!"
"Of course i did! Anyways after this do you want to leave? I mean after all you're probably tired..."
"I guess we should.....But who will take us home? You seriously left your car at home!"
"Relax we can get Joey to take us home! Hey Richter! can you give us a ride?"

I laughed as Lauren went over to Joey and started attacking him. It was kind of funny to watch this not going to lie. After some convincing we got into Joey's car and rode home. The ride back home was slightly more relaxing. Lauren allowed me to sleep in the back while she sat in the front with Joey. I slept the whole way through until Lauren woke me up from my peaceful nap. While getting our things out of the car.

We waved goodbye to Joey and he drove off back to the theatre to help with some technical issues. Lauren unlocked the door, I went over to the couch and slept on it. It was probably a reminder for me to not sleep late. Lauren sat beside me turning on the TV and grabbing a few blankets from cupboard, She sat beside me allowing me to sleep on her lap and we called it a day. We were both sound asleep on the couch even though it was already 8pm.
