"ARRRRG!!"

Draco came rushing down the stairs as fast as he could. He pulled out his wand and sprinted to his wife.

"What! What's the matter! Is it a death eater?" Draco started rambling and saw his wife with a letter in her hands. He snatched it out of her hands, wondering what a letter could do to make her scream.

It read:

Dear Hermione,

We understand that you strongly dislike these types of events, but I'm afraid that your father and I have run out of excuses for you to not go. Your grandparents really want to see you at this gathering, and I do hope you bring Draco this time around. It's at the LionSnake Hotel, April 26-May 25th. Hope to see you there!

Love, Mom and Dad

P.s.    Do put down your snobby cousins and aunts for me. They've been driving us crazy!

Draco put the letter down with an amused face.

"So, are you going to go?" he asked. Hermione huffed and rolled her eyes, and shook her head. "Of course not. Trust me, my cousins are unbearable! That Victoria is the worst!  Always calling me names like Beaver, Hermy, and bush because of my damn hair!" she started panting, out of breath. Draco, as always, looked amused.

"Well, you are a Malfoy. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see their expressions when they see how gorgeous and successful you turned out?"

Hermione half heartedly glared at him.
"Oh so I wasn't pretty before?" She huffed looking away.

Draco panicked, not picking up the sarcasm and started rambling.

"Oh no no no I just meant that since you've definitely, uh, matured over the past few years and have become more self confident and started dressing more like a girl, no that's not what I meant-mph!" Draco' s speech was interrupted by a chaste kiss on the lips.

"I'm just kidding!" she giggled when he sighed in relief

"Don't scare me like that! Anyway, go to that reunion. I can promise you it will go well." He said with a glint in his eye.

"Oh? And how can you be so sure?" Hermione said suspiciously. She wasn't dumb. He was planning something.

"Just a husbands intuition," Draco chuckled as his wife continued to stare at him "Just trust me on this one, okay?"

After a couple moments of staring, Hermione backed down. "Ugh...fine...we'll do this together"
Draco suddenly wore a panicked look on his face. "Uh...you see...about that..." He started sweating

"You aren't going are you? After you told me to go, you want me to face them by myself?!" Hermione exclaimed

"You'll have your parents! I just have to do something important! I'll promise I'll make it up to you, alright?" He finished with a pleading look. Hermione finally backed down. "Fine...but you owe me for this, Malfoy" she smirked

"Oh yeah? Well how about I make it up to you...right now?" He muttered huskily

"Well...I guess a preview wouldn't hurt..."

They leaned in and tongues started battling for dominance, when the fireplace roared to life and out came Ronald Weasley.

"Yo Ferret! 'Mione! Kingsley needs you gu-OH MY GOD GET A ROOM!" Ron shouted, disgust lacing his features

"This is our house Ronald!"

"MY EYES! MY INNOCENT EYES!!"

"They weren't so innocent in bed with a certain Ravenclaw girl you laid, were they-ouch!"

This comment earned Draco a slap on the arm from Hermione.
