She was dueling in a shadow game. The dark cloud hovered over her I couldn't see what was going on? I couldnt reach her.
Teá if you can hear me I'm coming back. For you.
Teá pov
He was too strong, I couldn't when he over powered his monsters with spell cards. WAIT that was it if I could draw the card I might have a chance. Come on... YES "I set 2 cards face down and then end my turn."
Yugi
She had 100 life points left he had 1800. Teá come on be strong. It wasnt a shadow game. This guy never heard of the shadow games. He said it was something in the underworld. What was the dark cloud though?
Teá pov
He played Underworld Circle. Yami played when we lost Yugis soul to the seal. Now I see what this is. He said he would finish me off I was waiting. After he banished all his monsters he must only have spell cards. There was no way his next attack would work. Not with what i have in store anyways.
He summons kaiser sea horse in attack position then attacks. "Go kaiser sea horse end this pathetic duel!"
"You activated my trap. Magic cylinder."
Yugis pov
God where was Joey I hope he was still at my house. I hope Teá was ok.
The fog cleared but Teá was on the ground. Joey came behind me "Yuge what happened?"
"I dont know"
Tristan came behind us and saw Teá we were all worried about Teá then she got up looking horrible.
"What happened?"
"Magic cylinder" she smiled, "thanks Yuge."
"Anytime"
Her face lit up and ran through us. "Mai! You're here!"
Of course she was here. We're always there when someones in trouble some how. Never has it not happened.
"Long time no see." She laughed at how happy we were to see her.
"Yeah how have ya been?" Joey turned blood shot red.
"Great"
We all head back to my house and there was a knock at the door about five minutes after there was Serenity. We close the door and Duke sticks his foot in the door. "Hey havin a party and cant invite me?"
Everyone says nope and we all bust out laughing reminiscing and telling stories.
Atems pov
They were all happy and laughing it was good to see it again after the arguing and ignoring eachother. Mana and seto walk in and sit with me. "How are they pharoh?"
"Perfect Seto."
"Still want to go back?"
"Mana what kind of question was that?"
"Seto its fine. Yes mana I do. Can i talk to Seto for a second?" She didn't say anything and left.
"What is it?"
I sighed and looked at Kaiba I mean Seto. Those two are just alike in every way. "I need your help."
"With."
"I want to go back." I paused for a moment and looked at him then he spoke.
"Sir you can't do that someone has to be here. And if you do you can't come back."
"Oh I plan to come back Seto please I want you to take over here for now. Everything else is sorted out."
"How will you even get back?"
"Thats another thing."
"I'll help you but you better figure this out."
Tristans pov
It was nice to all be back together with all the Atem and memories we made together it's nice.
The night went by quick and everyone ended up passing out on the floor. Mai Serenity and Teá were close together Yugi by Mai and Duke by Serenity. Which suprisingly I wasnt jealous and me and Joey were the only ones up.
"Tristan it's weird I went through what Yugi and Teá did after me and yug were done arguin. I was mad and everything he told me what happened when he left and I believe them."
What was he talking about? He was so mad he lost faith. I guess he did talk to Atem.
"I'm stepping outside. I need fresh air" I started to feel bad and needed to wrap my head around it all.
"Alright bud. I'll be up I'm not tired. Tristan he's coming back."
"I know" I step outside and it's cool. I can't wrap my head around what was going on. I sit on the wall of the house and close my eyes.
"Tristan" I hear a familiar voice standing over me.
"What Joey?" I must have fallin asleep I didn't even hear him come out.
"Wow Tristan open your eyes. I thought better of you" I look and see Yami standing there.
"Atem! It's you... Its ...your... How... Oh my God...long time no see." I jump up and hug him. Its not a dream I hope.
"Atleast your happy to see me"
"Duh"
"Is everyone else gonna be this excited?"
"I don't know. Joeys the only one up though and as happy I am we cant wake them up." We walk in and Joey was out. "Go to Yugis room I have an idea. Tomorrow I'll wake them up and after about an hour or so you come down. Goodnight Atem."
He nodded, "goodnight Tristan."
I'm still mad but I'll keep that to myself for now.
*flashback*
Pharaoh we all ran up to him after Yugi beat him don't go
So thats how it ends huh? You think you can show up and change everybody's lives and then just leave.
What Tristan means is we don't wanna say goodbye.
Exactly. Pharaoh I know walking through that door means your spirit is free and it's all for the best but it doesnt seem fair I mean I feel like we were all just getting to know you. In fact you were just beginning to know yourself. And now your being taken away from us. I know we should be happy, but Its really hard to do that when your losing your best friend and you don't understand why it has to be that way.
I didnt get it how did he walk off. Seeing him leave was the hardest day I've had in a long time. The question was asked several times we all dwelled on him leaving and tonight he shows back up into our lives probably expecting us to be happy and suddenly understanding.

The next morning i wake up and go to the bathroom everyone else was asleep and Atem wasnt in Yugis room.
"Tristan" i jumped and lost balance falling Atem stood over me laughing holding his hand out. "Dont do that man. You're gonna to give me a heart attack. Go back in Yugis room I'm going to the bathroom then waking everyone up. In about 15 minutes or so I'll distract them keep their eyes off the stairs you walk in and cough.
He nods and goes to Yugis room. After i go to the bathroom i turn on the tv and blare it. Joey throws a pillow. "People are tryin to sleep here."
"Come on guys wake up its dawn." They all wake up grumbling.
"How long have you been up?"
"Not long"
About 10 minutes Yami would be down. Yugi gets up and goes to the kitchen opening the fridge.
"Hey so," its been 15 minutes now it's time to distract them.
"Yeah"
"I had a dream too last night. This time it was here."
"What happened?" They all look at me. Come on Yami.
"I came back." Yami says walking down the stairs. Everyone looks up.
Teás pov
I saw him and ran out crying "I won't get close again"
He grabbed my arms and looked me in the eyes "I'm not leaving you again. Teá look at me" I couldn't he left me he left us. When i didn't he tilted my head up. "Teá I made that mistake a few months ago and it didn't take me long to realize I need you guys. Especially you keiko," he caressed my cheek and I laid my head to his hand.
"So what are we chopped liver now." Mai was in tears with us. I missed him more than I realized.
"Yeah bud what's the big idea?" Joey smiled, "come in here unannounced and go straight for Teá?"
"Yeah what's it to ya pal?" Atem said jokingly and shoved his shoulder "I woulda got to you eventually"
"Ah that's real funny and ya steal my thing too" tears went to smiles and a man of few words started talking. He was always so serious. Me Mai Serenity and Yugi sit back while the others rough house.
"Great to have him back isn't it." Yugi smiled at me. "Hey I never thanked you for keeping him sane and even though he told me he was beginning to become evil you kept the darkness devor him."
"Yugi you don't have to thank me."
There was a frantic knock at the door. I got up and opened it. Kaiba was standing there sweating and in tears.
"I have a problem." They heard his voice and instantly stopped. It was a high pitch voice.
"What rich boy?"
"Joey!" We all glare at him.
"They took mokuba. My little brother." He dropped to his knees crying.
"Why did you come to us? I thought you hated us."
"I love my little brother and would do anything to protect him. Joey you should know that. I was too busy taking care of my company." He looked over and saw Atem. "How are you back?"
"Kaiba that's the least of our worries right now."
"He's right Kaiba who took Mokuba?"
"Roland my staff they took him." He threw the note down and i read it out loud.
Mr. Kaiba if I can even say that,
Mokuba is with us. He was tired of you're uh arrogance just as we were. He is safe but you wont see him and its best for him.

"That makes no sense Kaiba it's poorly written and taunting. Roland was kind and understood you and what you went through. He wouldn't take the one person saving you." He was too hurt to understand.
"Teá you don't understand. I have become too much like him."
"How can we help?"
"A search party something. Please Yami." He was at Atems feet begging.
"Kaiba get up and be the man you tried being. Hide your emotions and face it like you do anything else to protect him."
He stood up and wiped his eyes, "you're right help me find my brother guys please. He's all I got and I failed him."
"Kaiba stop." I went and hugged him whispering, "Mokuba would hate to see you like this."
"Your right."
Im sorry guys I did a thing forgive me but you gotta admit Kaiba begging at the feet of Atem for help is funny me and my nephew think so. But yay Atems back sooner than I would have liked but yay. Now about Mokuba. What is going to happen? Stay tuned. 😀
