Today was the day.

Today was the first day that I was "dating" Justin.

So far, I hadn't run into Justin or seen Nori. But now, it was social studies, the class I have with him and Justin.

I took a seat next to a waiting Justin. He rapped his arm around me and Alex walked in. So far, he hadn't seen us. He walked to our table group with a smile. His eyes dropped from my eyes to my shoulders, where Justin laid his arm.

"Hey guy... " he said hesitantly

"Hi Alex!" I sounded a little more excited then I should have sounded.

"Hey." Justin smiled.

"Guys what did I miss?" He asked.

"A lot! It turns out that we like each other" Justin pointed at me and him "and we are together now!" He smiled and I put my head on his shoulder to make it look more realistic. Alex frowned

"So now, I'm gonna be a third wheel?"

"Don't worry, little bro! We'll find someone for you."

"Ok." He said quietly.

Time skip

Right now, I was at my locker that was near Alex's.

"Hey Alex.." I heard Nori say flirtatiously. When did she ever think about Alex in the same was as I did?

"H-hi! Nori!" He looked at me, I'm not sure why though.

"Do you wanna hang out, like after school or something?" She got uncomfortably close to him and he seemed in a daze, while I just puked in my head.

"I- uh....." he looked at me

"I can't." Everyone looked shocked at him. Everyone was so sure Nori had him rapped around her finger, along with the rest of the boys in the school.

"But-" Nori started

"Sorry! He can't because he is hanging out with Justin and I after school! Sorry! We have to go!" I then pulled Alex away from Nori. I know that I just saved him from Nori being mad at him, and possibly stop flirting with him, but this was Alex. He was still new here! He's a slow learner so I could let him ruin his chances. I couldn't let him have his hopes and dreams with Nori be crushed. I know that I like him and don't want them together, but I'm still his friend, and I want him to be happy.

"Why did you do that? I was handling it just fine." Alex asked quietly

"Because that's what good friends do. Plus, I want you to be happy, even if that means you being with Nori"

"But what if I don't want to be with Nori?" I stopped abruptly and he almost fell, trying to stop as fast as he could behind me.

"Wait, what?" I asked. He looked confused then I saw realization dawn on his face.

"You mean about nori? I thought I liked her. I don't think I actually ever did." Words couldn't explain how I felt. I was sooo happy, but I kept all my happiness in my head. That didn't stop the smile from spreading on my face.

"Congratulations! Your finally over her!!" He smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Thanks" He said with hints of sarcasm.

"Hey guys! What's going on here?" Justin asked

"Alex is finally over nori!" I Said happily

"What? You are, little bro? I don't believe it!"

"Hey! I can get over people!"

"That doesn't matter! What really matters is that he's over nori now! Now we can all hang out without the thought of nori and I can be with-"

RINGGGG

"I'll see you guys after school! Meet at my house! Bye guys!" Justin stated and went to class.

"Bye Justin!" I smiled. I saw Alex frown. I totally forgot to tell him that it was fake dating!

"Ok I should go to class now."

"Yeah but before you go, it's all fake." He looked confused. "We arint dating. We faked it to make you stop falling every time you saw nori. Who knew you were the jealous type!" Alex blushed

"Am not"

"I would continue arguing, but I got a class to get to."

"Right" with that, he left for class. I walked to class, thinking about how happy I was that he was over nori, or possibly never liked her in the first place!
