{NASHI'S POV}
I've been at Fairy Tail for about two weeks now, and there's still no sign of Mommy or Auntie Tee. I'm super worried, and I feel kind of guilty about not telling the guild about Mommy."Hey. Hey, Nashi!" Emma calls. She's Aunt Levy and Uncle Gajeel's daughter, and at first she was really shy. I finally got her to open up to me, so now she won't stop talking about whatever book she's reading, which is new every day. Emma is really smart. She's also a good friend.
"Yeah?" I look towards her.
"You were spacing out. Thinking about your mom again?" Emma asks, then gasps and covers her mouth with her hand.
"Sort of." I sigh sadly. Everyone has been trying not to mention Mommy or Auntie Tee around me, but I know that the situation is bad anyway.
"I have an idea to cheer you up!" Emma claps excitedly. I perk up, interested.
"What is it?" I wonder.
"You should join Fairy Tail!" Emma proposes. "I mean, you are a wizard. And you're like family to us now. So you should make it official!"
"Okay!" I grin happily. We run up to the bar.
"Gramps! Aunt Mira! I convinced Nashi to join!" Emma yells excitedly. We hear a cheer on the the other side of the guild hall, and Sylvia Fullbuster, the daughter of Aunt Juvia and Uncle Gray, joins us.
"Really Emma-san? Nashi-san is going to join the guild? Sylvia is very happy!" She talks in third person, just like her mom.
"Yeah." I smile back at her. Sylvia is a year younger than me and Emma, and she's very cute and sweet.
"Well it's about time." Aunt Mira walks up to me with a broad smile. She's holding the guild stamper thingie. I've always loved the Fairy Tail guild mark. Mommy would show me hers, which was on her right hand, and it looked so cool.
"I want it here. In pink." I point to my right forearm.
"Okay." Aunt Mira puts the stamper on my arm, and after waiting a few seconds, she pulls it off again and I have a guild mark on my arm. It's the same color as Mommy's, which makes me happy. Daddy walks into the guild, so I run up to him.
"Da... Natsu! Look at this! I'm now officially a member of Fairy Tail!" I show him my mark. He grins at me.
"That's great Nashi!" He looks shocked when he first sees it, then seems kinda sad. Maybe the color reminds him of Mommy.
"What's wrong?" I ask Daddy.
"Nothing. I was just looking for the people who dared to hurt Lucy. And hurt your mom." He adds as an afterthought. I roll my eyes. They're the same person Daddy.
"Any leads?" Aunt Erza walks up to us. Daddy shakes his head sadly, and Aunt Erza sighs. Uncle Gray shows up too, and they start discussing other places they could look. I stare back and forth between them. Now I really feel guilty about not telling the guild about Mommy. I suppose I could tell someone.
I look around, and see Aunt Levy talking to Gramps. Perfect. I slip away from Aunt Erza, Uncle Gray, and Daddy, and approach them.
"Aunt Levy? Gramps?" I grab their attention. Both are surprised to see me.
"I thought Emma would be celebrating with you. She's so excited." Aunt Levy laughs.
"Um, well, I was hoping maybe we could talk about something. It's important, and I should have told you sooner, but it absolutely needs to stay a secret." I say seriously. They catch my tone, and their expressions turn grave.
"Let's go to my office." Gramps says. As soon as Aunt Levy and I go inside, he closes to door behind us and puts a silence spell on it so no one on the outside can hear, even the dragon slayers.
"What is it?" Aunt Levy looks worried, but kind of curious too.
"It's about my Mommy. I haven't been entirely honest with you." I begin. Gramps and Aunt Levy share a glance. I take a deep breath. Here goes.
"My Mommy is your former guild member, Lucy Heartfilia." I blurt out quickly, only to be met by dead silence. Aunt Levy's mouth drops open, and tears well up in her eyes.
"Lu-chan's alive?" Aunt Levy whispers emotionally. I nod slightly, and she gasps and falls to her knees.
"What happened that made Tee lie?" Gramps demands coolly. I tell them the bits of the story that I know. After I'm done, Gramps looks deep in thought. Aunt Levy is still crying on the floor, so I pat her back lightly.
"I'm sorry Aunt Levy. I wanted to tell you. Mommy's told me a lot about you. She said you were her best friend, and she at least wanted to go back and say goodbye to you properly." I tell her. Aunt Levy looks at me, then begins bawling, and squeezes me in a super tight hug.
"I can't believe you're Lu-chan's daughter!" She wails, sobbing like there's no tomorrow.
"Wait." Gramps holds up a hand. We both stop what we're doing to stare at him, though Aunt Levy is still sniffling. "I have a few very important questions. First, why did Lucy leave?"
"She left when she found out about me, because she didn't want to hurt her relationships with all her friends and family." I respond immediately.
"We wouldn't have hated her! We would have been thrilled and welcomed you!" Aunt Levy protests, wiping away the last of her tears.
I shake my head. "That's not what Mommy thought. There was also the issue with my Daddy."
"Which leads me to my second question. Who is your father?" Gramps asks. Aunt Levy now looks madly curious. I shrug.
"He's a member of the guild. Mommy didn't want him to hate her." I flinch when Aunt Levy grabs and shakes me by the shoulders in disbelief.
"What?! Who?" She leans forward eagerly. I casually flip my pink hair over one shoulder, and make a face like I would on the train. The realization dawns.
"Natsu!?!" They shout in unison. I show off my toothy grin, which Mommy told me looks a lot like Daddy's. Aunt Levy's eyes light up, and she squeals.
"Thank you, Nashi. You brought us something we thought was lost forever. And don't worry. Fairy Tail will get Lucy back!"
